It is very important as to which day we treat as God's true Sabbath, for it's the day He commanded us to keep as holy. Paul confirms my words when he wrote, "Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?" Romans 6:16.
You are either breaking God's sabbath, thus obeying Satan, or you are keeping it, thus are "servants" of God. Obedience is very important in showing who we serve.
But here's the interesting thing when you understand things properly. If you actually replace Saturday as the Sabbath with the Sunday...thus working on Sabbath and resting on Sunday, then you will indeed receive the mark of the beast.
You won't receive the mark of the beast when keeping God's sabbath and working on the Sunday. But all that's different about the work we'd do on Sunday would be that it's the Lord's work, which is acceptable on any day of the week.
Just have to point out, Ellen White didn't say we don't keep the Saturday Sabbath. Basically, all she was saying is that we can use this Sunday law stuff to our advantage, by doing God's work on that day too. She didn't at all say let us replace God's sabbath with Sunday. Technically, we should use whatever spare day we have to spread the gospel etc to people. This does not contradict Ellen White's views on Saturday Sabbath keeping.

The sad part is that people are arguing over days, when every day is a day of worship. Every day is a day to draw close to God and remember him. The Israelites didn't just have one day a week for worship, they had more worship days than what people are willing to admit.
In actuality, it's not the day that determines who you worship, as each day is a day that God has made and we can rejoice and be glad in it, even Sunday. It's the way and who one worships that makes the diff.

What else is covering the ten commandments? The atonement cover. Unless God sees the blood of Christ on that covering, you'll be found guilty of the law, no matter how well you think you keep it.
Question is, how is that blood applied? Is it applied only after all you can do? Only after you have been able to keep the law perfectly? No...by the deeds of the law shall no flesh be justified. We're justified because of Jesus, Joe. And only because of him.
You are guilty of that law, no matter how hard you try, you are guilty of it. He who does not walk in accordance with all that is written in the book of the law is guilty, and only Jesus was ever perfect.
@Myhopeisinhim The Bible is clear, we are justified by grace through faith, but does the justification excuse us from obedience? Are we freed to sin against our Holy God just because we are saved from sin? Are we saved from sin or are we saved in sin? Does not Paul write that we would become what we behold, as in Christs Character? Does not John write that sin is the transgression of the Law? Does not Jesus say, Be ye perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect? The gospel is pure and simple. =)
@Myhopeisinhim God sees the blood covering the commandments and the reason why Jesus had to die for us, it is not then readily understood that we are now free to fornicate, lie and steal just as we did before we were sinned. God wants us to love Him and His character and nature and want to restore us into His image. Do we make void the law just because we are under grace? God forbid, we establish the Law. Just as Paul writes in Romans, so must we pray God to write His law in our hearts.

Did you know that God had more days than just the seventh day that were set apart for him? Many other days that contained holy convocations?
It is a misrepresentation to teach that only the sabbath was set apart for Almighty God. In essence, every day is a day to worship the Lord God Almighty and give to him. If you want to just give one day, feel free, but I walk in all days for him. Every day is a day to give him glory.
The biggest thing that is being missed is that the seventh day sabbath spoke of a rest, a rest of completion. This foreshadowed the time that you would be made complete in Christ and enter into his rest. This rest doesn't end at the end of a day, this rest doesn't end at the start of a new week.
This is a rest that you are in every moment of every day because you have been made right with God. I'm in his rest daily, just as he has been in rest since he finished his work.
I really wish you could see deeper than the surface of the law. Ellen White had a surface understanding of the law, including a surface understanding of the sanctuary.

@Myhopeisinhim The surface, the height and the depth of the Law is Jesus Christ, it is not possible to separate Him from His Law that He gave, that He wrote with His own finger and that He gave His Own life for in order to free us from the law of sin that rules our hearts. You've quoted about your belief that constantine changed the sabbath, you pointed out that you believe daniel 9:25 refers to the sabbath being changed, and I know that some believe it's referring to the sabbath because you believe that the sabbath is the only one of the ten commandments referring to "time"; but, i have yet to see good biblical evidence that the term "times and laws" there means specifically and solely the sabbath.

Daniel 7:25 is the word of God, and I completely agree about that; however, to get a sunday law from that verse is to stretch it beyond stretching, no offense. We've seen numerous things the antichrist changes, but none of them state a sunday worship law.
There are inconsistencies in what you teach. The bible says that the antichrist will seek to change times and laws during the 1260 years. Yet you would have the times and laws thing to occur 217 years before that even starts.
The times and laws he changes is at the same time he wears out the saints and kills them. Look at the order of the verse
1) He speaks great words against the most high
2) he wears out the saints
3) he seeks to change times and laws
You have him wearing out the saints starting 217 years after. The interesting thing is, the one who made a sunday law is not the pope,not to mention, how could the pope have changed a law at that time, when he apparently didn't rise to power till 538?

The verse itself shows that the wearing out of the saints occurs at the same time as he seeks to change times and laws. The bible also shows that the deadly wound occurs towards the beginning of the 1260 years because it is what causes the entire world to wonder after him.

Where in there does it say that it has anything to do with the sabbath? Nearly everyone in this world works 5 days and has two days off. In Constantinople, people rested on saturday AND sunday.

Yes, I agree, times and laws has to change before the persecution can begin. That is why the changes mark the beginning of the persecution. The beginning of the 1260 years. Also don't forget, the wound doesn't happen at the end, it happens at the beginning when everyone begins to worship the one whose wound was healed.

The time frame of making war with the saints is 1260 days. At the end of those 1260 days is when the ancient one comes and judges in favor of his people. If 1798 was correct and was the end of that time, then he...
would have judged in favor of the saints, and we would have already received the kingdom. But we are now 212 years away from 1798 and the Lord still hasn't come. Thus whether you want to admit it or not, this shows that the 1260 days hasn't come to a close, nor has the war against the saints, the time of trouble that this world has ever seen, hasn't even started yet.

The point of this video is not to state it as a holy day, or to keep it holy. The point of this video is to state that even Ellen White knew that God CAN be worshiped on sunday, and that doing God's work on Sunday is always acceptable to him.

In this verse we see the sabbath was given that the people might know it is the LORD who sanctified them. How are we sanctified?
Deu 5:15 And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and [that] the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day
It was because the Lord brought them out with the mighty hand from Egypt so he commanded them to keep the sabbath. The sabbath was a reminder to the people of the Lord, just as the other feast days were.
I'm afraid the old testament, when examining the phrase, used in Colossians shows that it mean the seventh day sabbath. I would recommend watching my video understanding colossians 2:16-17.

I do not work on the sabbath nor buy anything on the sabbath unless it is an emergency! For example. I will buy medicine on the sabbath or I will buy food for a homeless person on the sabbath. The point of this video is to show that even Ellen White knew that it was okay to worship the Lord and do the Lord's work on Sunday. It is alright to open your mouth and raise your hands in praise to the king of kings, no matter what day it is.
If it was so wrong to go to church on other days, and worship God on other days, can you explain why the adventist church attends church on Wednesday? Wednesday was dedicated to the God odin. So if worship on sunday equals sun god worship....

yes it does because sunday is the MARK of Romes authority and when enforced will be the mark of the beast, part of that mark will include the Sabbath being made illegal to be kept. it is all tied together.
Look if you want to believe that you can change God's law (because He did not) then thats your choice. I just dont know why its so hard for people to understand that God does not change so His law cannot change either, it's the most basic of bible principals. He told us which day to keep.
essentially ellen white says to abide by the laws of the land to prevent looking like lawbreakers, but that they wouldn't receive the mark of the beast because they show the wisdom of keeping the peace.

Based on my studies, I've found many of her teachings to be inconsistent and only believable if you put a mental block when you reach a specific point, to stop you from studying it further.
People don't follow her logic through to its logical end, and when you don't, that is when her teachings are easily believed.

Based on your studies? well what have you studied because and if you had examined it closely, you would have known that she was talking that when the mark of the beast is ENFORCED, then it will be an issue because when it is enforced, it will affect Sabbath keeping. people not working on Sunday is not going to be the issue, it is when the Sabbath is made void.

Jon does have a point of when it is enforced by law. Mankind has found ways to go against the law of God. Remember Daniel's friends in Babylon? Remember Daniel when he "wasn't allowed" to pray to the true God in later years? Death penalties were connected. We need to understand the past well, to know the future, for it is written:

Do you believe you need to keep the sabbath to be sealed by God, or is it something you just do because you want to and it doesn't effect your salvation in any way?
@Myhopeisinhim Truthfully, I keep the sabbath day because I believe that God's Law is Eternal and that it still matters and that He wants us to keep up. The command is simple, "Remember the sabbath day...". I'm not perfect, as is no one but God but I try to obey Him as far as possible. If its in the Bible I try to do it. Jesus said if we love Him, keep His commandments. I do love Him and so I keep them. We are also called blessed when we do so this is why I keep the sabbath day holy.

Where does the bible say that having Jesus releases us from keeping any or all of Gods 10 commandments? Where does the bible say that the rest Jesus gives us replaces the weekly blessing of Sabbath rest that Jesus Himself commanded? The real Sunday law will be about worship, not just about lack of work. I agree with Ellen Whites statement during her day. The Sunday law interpretation of prophecy has nothing to do with the Sunday law inacted in her day.

The mark of the beast is some type of etching, mark, that is in the hand or forehead...The word which is used is similiar to a branding that owners give horses and cows.

Yes, actually we do. There isn't any question Jesus existed in history. There is ample proof, outside of the bible, that Jesus existed.

Jesus did come, he was in person, and some people still refused to believe in him, even with all the miracles he did in front of their eyes. He raised the dead, made the blind see, and certain people still refused to believe him, and called him a criminal, and that his works were the workings of satan.

There is nothing wrong with what Ellen White suggested. I do missionary work on Sunday all the times! But I do not recognize that day as "holy". It is "mental" compliance when we receive the mark. What will be the STRONG test on Sabbath keeping Christians is when they try to force Sabbath observers to WORK on Saturdays, and verbally recognize Sunday as sacred. They will try to make them sign forms agreeing that Sunday is sacred.
I can remember Christ has having been raised from the dead every day. But there is not one scriptural minutia that even hints any sanctity regarding that day. It was his death that ratified the new covenant, not his resurrection. Why not celebrate and commemorate his crucifixion? As for the Sabbath, it points backward to the everlasting covenant established in Eden, & it points forward to the heaven and earth made new. We are told not to work on that day in the 4th commandment. Plain and simple.

It is very important as to which day we treat as God's true Sabbath, for it's the day He commanded us to keep as holy. Paul confirms my words when he wrote, "Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?" Romans 6:16.
You are either breaking God's sabbath, thus obeying Satan, or you are keeping it, thus are "servants" of God. Obedience is very important in showing who we serve.

But here's the interesting thing when you understand things properly. If you actually replace Saturday as the Sabbath with the Sunday...thus working on Sabbath and resting on Sunday, then you will indeed receive the mark of the beast.
You won't receive the mark of the beast when keeping God's sabbath and working on the Sunday. But all that's different about the work we'd do on Sunday would be that it's the Lord's work, which is acceptable on any day of the week.

Just have to point out, Ellen White didn't say we don't keep the Saturday Sabbath. Basically, all she was saying is that we can use this Sunday law stuff to our advantage, by doing God's work on that day too. She didn't at all say let us replace God's sabbath with Sunday. Technically, we should use whatever spare day we have to spread the gospel etc to people. This does not contradict Ellen White's views on Saturday Sabbath keeping.

The sad part is that people are arguing over days, when every day is a day of worship. Every day is a day to draw close to God and remember him. The Israelites didn't just have one day a week for worship, they had more worship days than what people are willing to admit.
In actuality, it's not the day that determines who you worship, as each day is a day that God has made and we can rejoice and be glad in it, even Sunday. It's the way and who one worships that makes the diff.

Question is, how is that blood applied? Is it applied only after all you can do? Only after you have been able to keep the law perfectly? No...by the deeds of the law shall no flesh be justified. We're justified because of Jesus, Joe. And only because of him.
You are guilty of that law, no matter how hard you try, you are guilty of it. He who does not walk in accordance with all that is written in the book of the law is guilty, and only Jesus was ever perfect.

Are we freed to sin against our Holy God just because we are saved from sin? Are we saved from sin or are we saved in sin? Does not Paul write that we would become what we behold, as in Christs Character? Does not John write that sin is the transgression of the Law? Does not Jesus say, Be ye perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect? The gospel is pure and simple. =)

@Myhopeisinhim God sees the blood covering the commandments and the reason why Jesus had to die for us, it is not then readily understood that we are now free to fornicate, lie and steal just as we did before we were sinned. God wants us to love Him and His character and nature and want to restore us into His image. Do we make void the law just because we are under grace? God forbid, we establish the Law. Just as Paul writes in Romans, so must we pray God to write His law in our hearts.

Stay close to God and Christ and let the Holy Spirit work within your heart and change you and bless you. We have the promise of victory, to overcome just as Christ overcame, by faith and by love. Did you know that God had more days than just the seventh day that were set apart for him? Many other days that contained holy convocations?
It is a misrepresentation to teach that only the sabbath was set apart for Almighty God. In essence, every day is a day to worship the Lord God Almighty and give to him. If you want to just give one day, feel free, but I walk in all days for him. Every day is a day to give him glory.

The biggest thing that is being missed is that the seventh day sabbath spoke of a rest, a rest of completion. This foreshadowed the time that you would be made complete in Christ and enter into his rest. This rest doesn't end at the end of a day, this rest doesn't end at the start of a new week.
This is a rest that you are in every moment of every day because you have been made right with God. I'm in his rest daily, just as he has been in rest since he finished his work.

@Myhopeisinhim The surface, the height and the depth of the Law is Jesus Christ, it is not possible to separate Him from His Law that He gave, that He wrote with His own finger and that He gave His Own life for in order to free us from the law of sin that rules our hearts. Truth is, we are not to become like the son of perdition or the son of lawlessness, as Jesus explains in Matew 5:17, and 7:21, He did not come to destroy the law but to fulfill, to live it, to eternalize it.

You've quoted about your belief that constantine changed the sabbath, you pointed out that you believe daniel 9:25 refers to the sabbath being changed, and I know that some believe it's referring to the sabbath because you believe that the sabbath is the only one of the ten commandments referring to "time"; but, i have yet to see good biblical evidence that the term "times and laws" there means specifically and solely the sabbath.

Daniel 7:25 is the word of God, and I completely agree about that; however, to get a sunday law from that verse is to stretch it beyond stretching, no offense. We've seen numerous things the antichrist changes, but none of them state a sunday worship law.
There are inconsistencies in what you teach. The bible says that the antichrist will seek to change times and laws during the 1260 years. Yet you would have the times and laws thing to occur 217 years before that even starts.

The times and laws he changes is at the same time he wears out the saints and kills them. Look at the order of the verse
1) He speaks great words against the most high
2) he wears out the saints
3) he seeks to change times and laws
You have him wearing out the saints starting 217 years after. The interesting thing is, the one who made a sunday law is not the pope,not to mention, how could the pope have changed a law at that time, when he apparently didn't rise to power till 538?

The verse itself shows that the wearing out of the saints occurs at the same time as he seeks to change times and laws. The bible also shows that the deadly wound occurs towards the beginning of the 1260 years because it is what causes the entire world to wonder after him.
Another fact i'd like to point out is that you have the deadly wound being healed 131 years after the 1260 is over, when scriptures show it....

that I'm not saying this because I don't like the sda's this was my honest search of the scriptures. I love studying prophecy, and what others believe might happen, and compare their teachings with scripture; but, I cannot ignore the inconsistencies with sda prophecy teachings.

That is why I said at the start of the 1260 years, or just prior, is what I said before. Regarding the war against the saints, and the 1260 years, was not to end until the ancient of days has come. Has he come yet?
Also, I'm curious of your thoughts regarding the war on the saints. Can you share with me some history sites that contain the teachings of this war ranging from 538-1798?

Actually, i seriously disagree with the catholic church teachings as well. They have a lot of errors, and fallacies in their teachings. They believe they have authority to do all these things because they believe they go right back to Peter. Something about the apostolic succession or something.
I am not arguing for the catholic church, please trust me on that. I believe the future pope could very well be the false prophet. Just wanted to let you know where I stand regarding them.

Do you not acknowledge that ellen white taught that it was a POPE that changed the sabbath? Suddenly the church realizes that it wasn't really a pope that changed it but an emperor Constantine, who was not a pope. How do they justify the misunderstanding as shared by Ellen White?

It had nothing to do with changing the sabbath. And given that constantine wasn't a pope, it had nothing to do with the papacy, given the fact that the papacy didn't rise to power until a supposed 538 a.d.

If it had to do with changing the sabbath than why did the people still rest on saturday? This is one thing that people ignore. It wasn't a change from saturday to sunday, but rather an additional day of rest. That is probably where we get our 5 day work week from. There is nothing in the bible that says you can't rest on other days.

Also don't forget, the wound doesn't happen at the end, it happens at the beginning when everyone begins to worship the one whose wound was healed.

Thus whether you want to admit it or not, this shows that the 1260 days hasn't come to a close, nor has the war against the saints, the time of trouble that this world has ever seen, hasn't even started yet.

The point of this video is not to state it as a holy day, or to keep it holy. The point of this video is to state that even Ellen White knew that God CAN be worshiped on sunday, and that doing God's work on Sunday is always acceptable to him.
Thus if God CAN be worshiped on Sunday and gathering together on Sunday is OKAY, and even she knew it, then worshiping God on Sunday is NOT the mark of the beast.

In regards to the sabbath, the scriptures say:
Exd 31:13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it [is] a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that [ye] may know that I [am] the LORD that doth sanctify you.
In this verse we see the sabbath was given that the people might know it is the LORD who sanctified them. How are we sanctified?

I'm afraid the old testament, when examining the phrase, used in Colossians shows that it mean the seventh day sabbath. I would recommend watching my video understanding colossians 2:16-17.
If you want to say it means the offerings, very well, but there were offerings on the sabbath day as well. What are your thoughts on those?

I do not work on the sabbath nor buy anything on the sabbath unless it is an emergency! For example. I will buy medicine on the sabbath or I will buy food for a homeless person on the sabbath. I will help someone fix his tire on the sabbath Remember the Sabbath was made for the benefit of man and not man for the sabbath. I do go to church on the sabbath. I go to the 7th day Church of God. but I like to go to church on Sunday too. Remember It is Jesus who saves us not the sabbath.

The point of this video is to show that even Ellen White knew that it was okay to worship the Lord and do the Lord's work on Sunday. It is alright to open your mouth and raise your hands in praise to the king of kings, no matter what day it is.
If it was so wrong to go to church on other days, and worship God on other days, can you explain why the adventist church attends church on Wednesday? Wednesday was dedicated to the God odin. So if worship on sunday equals sun god worship....

Fact is, God's work can be done any day and every day. God can be worshiped any day and every day. And that was the point of my video. She knew it, otherwise she wouldn't have allowed her people to stop working and go to church on sunday, and do missionary work.

The questions are designed to get people to think, and use the scriptures consistently. Quite often I've noticed that the scriptures aren't being used consistently...sda's will give two understandings to a verse..They'll have the first half of a verse mean one thing, and the second half another.
It's nothing to do with bashing...it's to get you to dig deeper into the scriptures and to see it with a fuller understanding.

what you either missed or purposely left out is the fact that the sunday law will make it ILLEGAL to keep the Sabbath, which is breaking Gods 4th commandment law. the sunday law will try to force people to keep sunday and set aside Gods law.
apparently EGW was dealing with local laws in what you read but the mark of the beast will be worldwide & universal & enforced by the second beast, the United States.

yes it does because sunday is the MARK of Romes authority and when enforced will be the mark of the beast, part of that mark will include the Sabbath being made illegal to be kept. it is all tied together.
Look if you want to believe that you can change God's law (because He did not) then thats your choice. I just dont know why its so hard for people to understand that God does not change so His law cannot change either, it's the most basic of bible principals. He told us which day to keep.

I assure you that I've examined the things she's taught to great depths. My mind isn't closed to learning, Jon.
Based on my studies, I've found many of her teachings to be inconsistent and only believable if you put a mental block when you reach a specific point, to stop you from studying it further.
People don't follow her logic through to its logical end, and when you don't, that is when her teachings are easily believed.

Based on your studies? well what have you studied because and if you had examined it closely, you would have known that she was talking that when the mark of the beast is ENFORCED, then it will be an issue because when it is enforced, it will affect Sabbath keeping. people not working on Sunday is not going to be the issue, it is when the Sabbath is made void.

Jon does have a point of when it is enforced by law. Mankind has found ways to go against the law of God. Remember Daniel's friends in Babylon? Remember Daniel when he "wasn't allowed" to pray to the true God in later years? Death penalties were connected. We need to understand the past well, to know the future, for it is written:

@Myhopeisinhim Truthfully, I keep the sabbath day because I believe that God's Law is Eternal and that it still matters and that He wants us to keep up. The command is simple, "Remember the sabbath day...". I'm not perfect, as is no one but God but I try to obey Him as far as possible. If its in the Bible I try to do it. Jesus said if we love Him, keep His commandments. I do love Him and so I keep them. We are also called blessed when we do so this is why I keep the sabbath day holy.

there is nothing wrong with going to church on sunday or any other day of the week as long as you are not breaking the Sabbath...which you are because you dont keep it as God instructed on the day He instructed.

I dont cook/buy/sell on Sabbath, there are 6 other working days God gave us to prepare for the Sabbath day.
Where does the bible say that having Jesus releases us from keeping any or all of Gods 10 commandments? Where does the bible say that the rest Jesus gives us replaces the weekly blessing of Sabbath rest that Jesus Himself commanded? People always say "Jesus is our Sabbath!" but strangely they can never show me were the bible says that.

My hope is in Jesus, who has given me my sabbath rest because he has made me complete in him so that I can come into the presence of the father, which I wouldn't have been able to do if he hadn't already gone in before.
I have rest because he is my hope and my salvation. He's the only reason I am saved.

some say that worshiping on sunday, means your worshipping the pope, devil etc and its a condeming mark.
Its amazing to me that people say this about the day of the week when Christ my savior Rose from the dead.
I mean to celebrate every sunday, the day that He was ressurected from the grave and had in hand the keys of death and hell.

Amen, its his resurrection from the dead that ensures us of our resurrection.
If he didn't rise again then our faith is in vain. And the first worship that occurred after the resurrection happened on the first day of the week.

NO Jesus did NOT rise from the dead on a Sunday The Romans in the 5th century when they adopted christianity & created the ROMAN church (catholic) decided to worship Jesus on the same day as The Worship of Saturnia The Roman day of Sun worship.SUN DAY It was a political move by the Romans & has worked Very Well ever since
The catholic church is anti christ it goes against Jesus he specifically instructed " Do NOT worship me Nor build temples, or worship idols in my name Rather Live by my WORD

There is proof of the resurrection day in the bible as being sunday, along with extra biblical proof that spoke of the first day of the week being the resurrection day.
It's other people now who seek to change that.

again here we have some one trying to tie in christianity to roman worship. again this person calls the words of the bible a liar and again just because i praise God on sunday has nothing to do with sun worshipping or as the egyptions called the sun god (ra)

absolutly not, again you said the key word, (my opinion) My belief is based on Gods true word. and again You tried to correct me first, so i corrected your correcting. I am not forcing anything on you. Many times over the truth hurts or makes people upset. That is not ego or arrogance, this is not a game to me of who is right and who is wrong this is about salvation through Christ and eternal security that i very much believe in. Was it Christ like when Jesus rebuked Peter?

If God ever said to keep something the way it is, someone like this would do it a different way and just say I worship you but I just can't do it your way, in fact I'm going to tell everyone else not to do it that way either.

The who we serve is written in the 4th commandment and that is why we keep it. I worship the God that created the earth in six days and rested on the 7th. And he blessed the 7th day. He told us to keep the 7th day. And I can keep that day holy. I can't keep any other day holy because he never made it that way. I can do the Lords work on another day but it will never be made holy. It is good to serve God on Sunday but even better to Keep Holy his Sabbath.

sabbath is no longer a day. the sabbath is now Christ. Christ preached to sabbath keeping jews mathew 11:28-29 saying come to me and i will give you rest for your soul. The Lord of the sabbath wants to give you rest, and not just a day of rest but rest for your soul eternally.
You can now rest everyday in Christ. Nothing wrong with sunday or saturday worship. Its not about the day its about Jesus.
also the sabbath was a cov. between God and israel. exodus 31:16

again we have people saying o it was the Pope, the NWO. etc etc. stoopid stuff. Christians worshipped God on sunday, they came together and broke bread, they took up colections for the poor.
There is nothing wrong with worship on satarday, friday,sunday, tuesday, wednesday thursday or monday. worship God everyday.
celebrate His resurection everyday, Worship Him for salvation everyday. Stop with the day of worship cov. Christ is your covenant

The law that came before led to Christ, now its in Christ we find all things.
You don't connect them, but think about circumcision and sacrifices...they became fulfilled in us through Christ. Mankind isn't keeping sacrifices or circumcision anymore as a command because Christ fulfills them in you.
While you believe you should keep the seventh day as the sabbath, we have accepted him as the sabbath in us, and he fulfilled in us that which we could never fulfill.

The way the commands are fulfilled today are not the same as they were over 2000 years ago before Jesus died.
To fulfill the circumcision command, we are now circumcised in the heart the moment we believe. The sacrificial commands are fulfilled the moment we accept Christ as our sacrifice.
The way his commands are fulfilled are not in the flesh....it's spiritual and its accomplished in you through Christ.
Through his death, and life, you become free.

This is why the scriptures say that the law is spiritual...its not something you can fulfill in the flesh. The flesh, your body etc is carnal and it is simply not possible for you to fulfill that which is spiritual.
It is only Christ that fulfilled the law, and in doing so imputes the righteousness to you through faith..His one action saves you, completes you, holds you justified.

The real Sunday law will be about worship, not just about lack of work. I agree with Ellen Whites statement during her day. The Sunday law interpretation of prophecy has nothing to do with the Sunday law inacted in her day.

If its the act of worshipping on sunday..then okay sunday itself would be the mark....if its the act of worshiping the antichrist on sunday..then its the act of worshipping the antichrist and not 'sunday'.
Worship on sunday itself is not wrong....worshipping on any day of the week isn't wrong...however worshipping becomes wrong when you worship a false God.

The mark of the beast is some type of etching, mark, that is in the hand or forehead...The word which is used is similiar to a branding that owners give horses and cows.
Do they only brand horses figuratively by owning them and putting them in a field? No....they brand them with a mark that shows who they belong to.

Yes, actually we do. There isn't any question Jesus existed in history. There is ample proof, outside of the bible, that Jesus existed.
So the question isn't whether or not he existed, but rather, the question is whether or not you believe him to be a raving lunatic, or you believe he is who he said he was.
And deciding to believe, or not, is a choice you yourself have to make, I've made mine.
Only those who choose not to see will not believe no matter what we say

Jesus did come, he was in person, and some people still refused to believe in him, even with all the miracles he did in front of their eyes. He raised the dead, made the blind see, and certain people still refused to believe him, and called him a criminal, and that his works were the workings of satan.
Until you search with your whole heart, even if he stood in front of you, you won't believe in him.

Jesus also told us that another is going to come in his own name and him will you receive. He will receive a deadly wound and will recover, and it will cause the whole world to wonder after him.
When you see these things, know that what the bible says is true. Although, I pray you'll realize this before hand, because the bible says people will believe a strong delusion.

Your posts have led me to believe that something has happened in your life that caused you to turn from God. Please know that whatever happened, God never forsook you, turned away from you.
My God came down from heaven to earth, and died on the cross, shedding his blood for my sin. He could have came off that cross anytime, he could have stopped the torture he received by calling thousands of angels down from above.
But he didn't, he stayed because he loved me..I don't think....

There is nothing wrong with what Ellen White suggested. I do missionary work on Sunday all the times! But I do not recognize that day as "holy". It is "mental" compliance when we receive the mark. What will be the STRONG test on Sabbath keeping Christians is when they try to force Sabbath observers to WORK on Saturdays, and verbally recognize Sunday as sacred. They will try to make them sign forms agreeing that Sunday is sacred.

I don't observe the day as 'holy' either, Lysimachus, I recognize Christ as Holy and through him I'm sanctified in God's eyes.
I don't get together with people on Sunday to recognize Sunday as holy, but to remember Christ as having been risen from dead.
The Sabbath led to a future promise. The new remembrance reminds us of that promise which has already come.

I can remember Christ has having been raised from the dead every day. But there is not one scriptural minutia that even hints any sanctity regarding that day. It was his death that ratified the new covenant, not his resurrection. Why not celebrate and commemorate his crucifixion? As for the Sabbath, it points backward to the everlasting covenant established in Eden, & it points forward to the heaven and earth made new. We are told not to work on that day in the 4th commandment. Plain and simple.

That if you confess Jesus is Lord and that God raised him from the dead you will be saved. Plain and simple. That is Gods commandment believe in the Son 1 john3:22-24.

Your righteous works do not gain you entry into heaven, just like a programmed robot that cleans your kitchen cannot earn a treat. It has no love, it just does as its told. But obedience will be the fruit of your love for Jesus. It is the evidence of their faith in Jesus. When we do our best, from the heart, it is only a result for the indwelling of Jesus in our hearts.

when i preach when i minister, I tell them there is No other name that can save you.
No saturday worship can save you, no sunday worship can save you, nor tuesday or whatever day. ONLY FAITH IN JESUS and HIS LOVING GRACE Saves !!! Praise His wonderful and Holy NAME!!!
