This is amazing really I have a fully operational 10v Triple Boot. Only thing I could not figure out was how you got the pretty logos the penguin for linux, Orb for & and apple for OSX mine just shows 3 apple looking hard drives. If you are going to say it is a diffrent version of chameleon can you point me in the right dirrection I went to the chameleon website and it is very confusing. Maybe a video on how to make that streamlined into the mac usb and where to get it
Good question. I know it only gives you something like 3 seconds to pick what OS you boot to. And it defaults to OS X. Hopefully you have it figured out by now.
I got that part but yours has the nice icons like for example the penguin for Linux mine just shows the grey hard drive and after the format to install windows 7 mine now shows that drive as windows ntfs instead of the WIN_7 I initionally typed in
AWESOME GUIDE! I did it slightly differently (Used Tiny 7, diff OS X installer), but it works perfect. I'd also like to install XP. Any guide on that? Quad boot!!!
I've seriously thought about trying to do a quad-boot with XP on there. I think the biggest issue is going to be XP though, since it's a lot more tempermental than Windows 7. It's possible there's someone who has done it though, although I can't recall really.
Quick question; i only plan to install OS X & Windows 7, i just wanted to know which steps do i skip? Will all the commandes that you type under CMD be the same or will they be different?
ok you kno how when you boot into windows 7, theres the green bar that scrolls to the right. in my windows 7 profession its lik 4 lights that join together to make the windows logo
As I understand it, it has to do with the resolution. If your display isn't at a certain resolution, it displays like that. My laptop gets the nice graphical display, but my 10v gets the green bar. I'm used to it and it doesn't really bother me.
post ubuntu, after reinstall of chameleon, during fixing win7 (diskpart), I select the partition & when I choose "active"..I get a msg "the selected disk is not a fixed MBR disk.tha active cmd can only b used on a fixed MBR disk"!!! I tried using Gparted n fdisk from terminal, but get the same result.Any thoughts on cracking this? great job anguish..cest vraiment tres bien!
Different needs. Most of the time, I use Windows 7, and it works just beautifully. However, I do have the periodic needs for both OS X and (in this case) Ubuntu. Plus, with the extreme portable nature of it, it's nice to be able to run all three.
Honestly, never heard of Easy Peasy until you mentioned it. Might be worth looking into at some point, although I've been pretty happy overall with UNR. Does what I need it to. Although, honestly, I have another partition on my new 10v that I haven't used, and that might suddenly get Backtrack 4 on it.

Should be the same. Basically all you're doing is leaving off the steps involving Ubuntu.
