This is one of my faveerouite songs that Delirious? ever wrote as a band! And it still touches my heart to this day! There aren't good covers of Delirious? Songs out there, but this one is by far the best I have seen! I am going to be doing a Cover of this song on the drums! may god bless you with all your hearts! I love you JESUS

@Psalms139IMHO Triplets, just set your delay to a short tempo so it will answer back to you. It depends on the tempo you are playing, although it's not hard to do. The fastest way to do it is just count your tempo so you can play the fisrt pulse and your delay will give you 2, 3 & 4. Hope it helps :)

I used to be a worship leader, the quit because I couldn't pretend that I loved being a worship leader at the time. I am 18 now this was over a year ago....just listening to these guys makes me want to get up on stage again. Kim Walker is my inspiration!

Why do they say, "It's summertime, but I'm still singing?" That kind of ruins this version for me... Delirious says, "my heart is dry, but I'm still singing." We all go through trials in our life, and I think that acknowledging that hurt and clinging to God is important

@FretFrizzler if you see kim walker's video about "song choice" she says don't sing songs that don't apply to you. she's saying, if your heart isn't dry then don't sing it. they liked the song, just not that part. so they changed only those words.

IMO Melissa has a better voice for this song then Kim. It's all for God for though so it doesn't really matter. I like how Kim sings in "Holding Nothing Back" though nonetheless they both have beautiful voices!

@turton5253 with all respect i think you will see many verses in the bible clearly indicating that the fire is representative of the Holy Spirit none more than the day of pentecost in Acts chapter 2 'cloven tongues of fire sat on each of them'. Fire is also symbolic of judgement in the bible (John said that Jesus would baptise with the Spirit and Fire) and the Holy Spirit is the one who convicts and convinces the world that God is God. Hope that makes sense.

This is true, however when I say theologically empty the only references to any kind of spiritual aspects are the word holy and heaven. The reason this brings up question as to what they are singing is this can fit with basically any kind of religion. There is no mention of who is bringing the fire or it's intent for it. We can see in Luke 9.51-56; Luke 12.49 and Rev 20.9 this fire from heaven is still used to destroy. Why don't we just speak His name?

Jesus did not pick and chose the good looking and model types to save and give His mercy to. I recall the leper, the blind man, a prostitute, all of whom Jesus did not care what they looked like, just was after their heart and an intimate relationship, which STILL has not changed even to this very day. His motive and message still stand. His love is never ending, regardless of what you look like. DO NOT be weak and fall for society to dictate what you should be.
