  • Wow...just came across this. I'm the piccolo player in the household cavalry. What memories. !!!

  • I remember this! I went to every tournament from 1990 to 1999! This was a brilliant piece as always by the bands of the Household division. This was not the Last Hurrah of the Light Division band. However it was the last time that the Corruna and Salamanca Bands of the Light Infantry were seen as two seprate bands before being almalgamated into the Band and Bugles of the Light Division, This was the same time when all the Light Infantry Regiments were alagamated, to form the Royal Green Jackets

  • Started with fanfare trumpets from the Royal Military School of Music Kneller Hall

  • Wow, I saw this one in 1994. This was the Elgar sequence with the massed bands of the Guards and Household Cavalry. Roger Tomlinson, director of music for the Royal Tournament that year directs from the old car. What a great show. I loved the RT for spectacles like this. Please keep these coming Militarytattoo. 1994 also had the last hurrah of the bands of the light Division I believe.
