At the end of the day, I'm fully satisfied with my beliefs. I believe in a God who was incarnated, preached a heavenly Kingdom, performed miracles, was cruxified for the world's sins, and conquered death through His Resurrection. You can believe that, or you can stick to your belief that mohammed is a prophet, he recieved the word of God, killing others in the name of God is ok, and you have to hate Jews and Christians.

4 books (Gospels) had known authors: Matthew, Mark, Luke, & John. These authors were primary sources to the details of Christ's life - His sermons, miracles, crucifixion, and resurrection. That's 4 converging, complimentary accounts of the same events. How is believing this illogical? On the contrary, it further reinforces the legitimacy of their claims

Me not knowing their last names doesn't make the 4 accounts any less credible. Eye-wtinesses explain an event, and you're worried about their last name? If that's an obstacle for you, Jewish historians keep a detailed account of their genealogies, so find the online database. Moreover, simply reading the gospels will tell you who these apostles were & their relationship to Jesus.

2. Tacitus, a Roman historian (115 AD)

Again, I'll bring up the case with Paul. Why would someone who persecuted Christians claim to have seen Jesus, and become a Christian himself? To any logical person, that's pretty striking. Read what he has to say about it in his epistles. Logically, i'd listen to his accounts over Mr. Ehrman, who lived 2000 years after the event.

Actually, you're wrong. They're different in terms of persepctive, yet their message about Christ's life, miracles, and teachings are the same. When you refer to scientific literature about a given topic, you'll find articles that prove the same concept from different aspects.

What details are incorrect? If you read the 4 gospels, the theme is obvious - Jesus died and rose from the dead to forgive the world's sins. Have you ever wondered how someone could turn water into wine? Heal the blind? walk on water? raise the dead? Rise from death Himself? (aside from the countless fulfilled prophecies about Christ)

If you want 4 gospels to speak word-for-word, I'm sorry. You'll be disappointed. Jesus' actions speak for themselves

Yes we do. There are secular accounts of His persecution & crucifixion, aside from Biblical account that verify His resurrection. Just because YOU don't know, doesn't mean everyone else doesn't.

That's not true. Evolution of what? The 4 Gospels were written to different audiences:

Matthew: Jews

Mark: Romans

Luke: Gentiles (non Jews)

John: Greek

Of course the tone of voice and presentation will be different. Secondly, the authors wrote them independently, without knowledge or "planning" (Matthew wrote in 70 AD vs John in 90 AD while exiled on Patmos).

There's no evolution. These are merely eye-witness re-telling of the Christ's life.

I'll give an example : When Jesus was arrested did he struggle like the synoptic gospels ? or did he say " I AM " and guards fell back and he was in full control ???

How many people were there when he got crucified ?

Did Jesus get a spear thrust like John says and no other gospel says ?

If God Himself says "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased" regarding Christ (found in all 4 Gospels), why would I ignore that and put my trust in a man who lead an extremely impure, unholy lifestyle,,, full of war, polygamy, and racism against Jews and Christians?
