@tomcrissy The first part (spike driving) is at Cragellachie, which is between Salmon Arm and Revelstoke, then they head east. The tunnel is at Rogers Pass (between Revelstoke and Golden) and the Stoney Creek bridge is just east of the pass.
@DannyandPatty I live in Alberta and I've been there too, (lots of times, actually.) It's funny how small the place is. If you're not looking, you'll drive right past it on the highway. But it's a really neat place to see.
do take a coast to coast trip, I did it three times. its just fantastic. Halifax - Montréal - Toronto - Vancouver. Always in Ist Class with a roomette of course. Great trips. once on the original CPR and twice on VIA RAIL.
Rick is so lucky to be able to travel around beautiful Canada and experience things that most people don't. He got to drive a train and stand on top of a railway bridge! I wish I had his job.
@BruceCountyFinest I would love to do that, but I'm a student so I'm kind of stuck here in Vancouver. Though, I plan to experience the world and that includes Canada. Just watching Rick travel around Canada makes me so jealous. XD If it's worth every last breath, I can't wait to see this beautiful country. :)
What subdivision is that?? I bet they asked CN to do this but knowing them they'd decline lol

This is awesome. I think being a train engineer is one of the best career choices. That's what I want to be when I grow up.

From Washington state as a truck driver,Ive been into B.C. and Alberta.I really like Canada.Canadians are what the USA should act like.
The USA needs to quit trying to control the world.
The Mercer Report has taught me alot about Canada.
Rick, keep showing us Americans a good life.
