  • I was renting a car- they offered me a Kia Soul for my LA trip. It was the same green but it had the 16inch wheels. And I must say I fell in love with it! The handling, the suspension, the speed and stereo quality. Much better than my VW beetle. I would really consider getting one. However, even though my beetle has the same 4cyl and 2.0L, the soul got me about 270 miles in a full tank- averaging about 80 mph on the highway and my beetle can get well over 300 miles.

  • This is one of the ugliest cars on British roads.

How anyone can buy a car that looks like this is totally beyond belief. It looks like it was designed by a 5 year old girl. The designers at Kia then took that girl's crayon drawing of a car and literally turned it into a real-life car - exactly like the drawing.

How can anyone take this car seriously? Let alone seriously enough to actually buy it?

Anyone who buys this car has no idea about looks or any taste in cars whatsoever. Idiots.

  • Quit playing with the camera and pay attention to the road! This is a prime example of why women drivers are bad drivers!

  • I just Rented this car because I needed it for the trunk space and the had nothing else available ...such an ugly looking car.

Atleast the H emblem saves the Element... This shyt box was doomed the day it was conceived by the geniuses at Kia.

  • @trippplefive don't haye on the soul bitchass hoe. yeah i'm a soul owner and proud to say it....

  • @MRJONESFAN1 yeah i was kinda harsh on my judgement of this car. Hey if you like the looks, then who am i to judge really.

Pretty good mileage, I'll give it that much.

  • i LOVE your review!!! they are VERY helpful. thank you :)

  • yup...i total chic car..

  • I don't normally like these type of cars, but the Soul really does stand out. It just looks cool.

  • sorry Im happy with my 2010 XB and not a cheap korean car

  • @DJTEVAdotCOM i'm happy that your happy with your vehicle

  • man wen they will change the gear shifting stik its too fucking ugly... its time for soothing new kiaaaaaaaa

  • I was wondering how roomie is it on the inside..and is the car about the same size as a mini cooper, and how comfortable seating wise?

  • i love the cream interior. how it rides? it seems a little bouncy

  • For some reason this car screamed BUY ME when i first saw it. I am turning 16 in a few months and going to start saving as soon as i get a job. It will be my first car that *I* own. I was wondering what were some of the best features that you think are. I'm in love with this, it speaks to my *soul* (har har lol)

  • Good car for anyone! base 1.6 manual rocks!

  • do you think this would be a good first car for a new driver, about 17 yrs old?

  • @Jabx93 I think it's a great 1st time driver/buyer car. solid, good line of sight, sit's up abit higher so big vehicles see it. KIA has great programs for this car right now, buying wise. Let me know if you need any help negotiating the best deal.

  • @STEALSonWHEELS appreciate it, thanks

  • @Jabx93 ... Just bought one for my daughter ... I like it ... I also have the Scion XB for the wife ... this car has more precise handling, although less powerful ... specially on acceleration. although a bit smaller ...

  • OMG YOUR SPEAKER IS ON FIRE!!!!!!

  • I test drove the ignition orange one fully loaded manual trans. and i must say i had a delight driving this little lunch box around.

Approx. weight 3800 pounds...therefore, it holds the road really well and the road noise is minimal to say the least..

mycarlady please get someone to hold your camera as i am car sick before i even got into the lunch box.....

  • What trim level does that colour come with? I cant seem to find it on the website, I'm probably just dumb though :-P

  • the exclaim

  • Figured that out three months ago, thanks anyways, lol!

  • MYCARLADY thanks for the video... you was just subscribed !!!

  • Looking for a sub-SUV replacement for our 2001 Nissan Pathfinder, and then we stumbled upon the KIA Soul which seem to be a great Scion/Yaris/Fit/Cube/Mini alternative! Now we just can't make up our mind between the java brown and alien green LOL!

  • alien green~~~

  • @rfan I agree with you rfan. I don't know if Mini should be in that lineup though because it's so expensive and doesn't really have room.

  • "like a mid-size pick-up", really? 20+ years in the business, a Pick-up was NOT what came to mind when I drove the soul at 70 mph.

  • lady, you obviously don't drive alot because in the soul you do not hear or feel the road and it does not get pushed around. It holds the road just like a mid sized pickup.

  • i hope ur not holding that camera while u were driving

  • I just bought one last week. I don't notice a whole lot of road noise, city or highway. From 1st to second gear is kind of quick, but you can add a cheap cold air intake to change this. As for ugly, beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

  • I agree .... I think mine does really well on the highway .
