God who revealed, or should I say gave a glimpse of his wrath against wickedness in the OT, has yet to reveal the fulness of his wrath as revealed in the book of Revelation. Those who were hearing of the gospel for the first time in the days of the apostles were learning about the mercy of the Lord as revealed in the OT.
The word of God is a two-edged sword. It is two-edged in that it has two sides that make up the whole of it. There is the wrath of God which is revealed against all unrighteousness (Rom 1) by which such who know the terror of the Lord are moved to persuade all men (2 Cor 5). The wrath of God and the mercy of the Lord is two sides of the same sword which is the one message-the one gospel.
Any attempt to divide the Bible into dispensationalism is to error greatly as to what is the gospel. The gospel is revealed in Jesus Christ. It was revealed by the Son of God. The Holy Spirit has been revealing the gospel of Jesus Christ since the first day of creation. Picture the whole of the Bible with one book missing. It would be incomplete. Try to make full sense of the gospel by one book-it would be lacking.
Though each book contains a vital revelation about the gospel of Jesus Christ, it is an incomplete revelation and even potentially distorted understanding if it is not taken in context with the whole of the Bible-all its books. People speak of context-but they usually mean within a paragraph or a chapter, etc. But rarely do they look at a passag in the full context of the Bible-taking it all into consideration and bearing witness to what is shared in that particular passage.
Why am i seeing people now put a " - " instead of an " o " in the word, "God"? Is this some sort of political correct over sensitive crap that someone came up with? If the bible writes "God" with a " o ", then that should be good enough for us.
in GOD why is it wrote as G-d.A jew reason?
