Especially seeing what Meyers previously did. Christians are meant to be set apart. Krsytal's lyricism has gotten more sophisticated now that she's older. None of that "I wanna nibble on your ear, Jesus" literal obviousness :p The Bible is often quite poetic with its language, calling God a rock, using metaphors & similies, "sins red as scarlet, they shall be white as snow"" could easily fit into a rock song :p Look at the tame way she dances in the video and the conservative way she dresses. That is a Christian girl in that video.

Anticonformity was about peer pressure to do ungodly things. It wasn't about being hardcore or having a certain image. Her style of dress has changed since she was 13. I fail to see how she was so much more original doing the Avril-esque thing that was popular at the time of her youth. She still has a message of anti-conformity in this song. The messages in her new songs are the same as the messages in her old one except her new songs are lyrically superior to her old material.

i think that yes the words are very moving in the sense that they inspire a younger generation to "make noise" for Christ. if you are saying the video is inappropriate in terms of her flinging her arms around and potentially flaunting herself, she is just dancing and expressing her desire to "make noise." i do see how this could be percieved as suggestive though.
