Ricky Nelson sang Travelin' Man to show that he and Willie Nelson share the same energy - Wizards of Ozzie and Harri-ET.Harry Truman dropped the A-bombs on the whale-and-dolphin-killing Japs because FDR had Jew Tay Sax from eating kosher-cruel food all his life. That's the real reason he was in that cheap Jew Wheelchair;Polio was just a cover. Jay Edgar Hoover knew this; Eleanor Roosevelt, of the Kanga and Roo Liberator Club, was a plant of the FBI Director, Mister Ed Hooves, the talking horse.
So sad, I lost my wie after nearly 53 years of a great adn wonderful marriage. We were never unhappy one day of our marriage but God took her from me and decided he needed another Angel which he got in my Wife.
I lost my Girl on August 17th after 41 years of marriage. She was the nicest, kindest, gentlest person I ever knew. This song explains every day since then.
I know how you feel sir because I lost my wife last January after 40 years of marriage. I had this song played at her funeral service and I truly believe it is Wllie Nelson's finest ever recording. The song has so much that many, many people out there in the world can identify with. The song should be a standard in my humble opinion.
this song breaks my heart....my very best friend died..she was .51 years old...of emphesema..oooooh how i miss my best friend,....i die every time i hear this song...thanx willie, its still ok to cry
WOW!!! I Just Love this song I was in the hot bed of country music when this was released, Chicago. Hardly any air play, I am sure glad I found it here thank-you.I am in total agreement a very underplayed under appreciated song, to me it is a Nelson Classic.

Picking a favorite song from Willie is virtually impossible.
There are so many that are #1 in my opinion.
And, "There you are" is among my #1 picks........

Willie hit #8 in Billboard, 1-13-90. Tarquin, hope you're not offended by this, but, God bless you!

This song is so personal to me.....my husband died of cancer long ago, and I still
have the same feelings as this song says. But it does not make me sad in a bad
way. Somehow, I feel closer to him. Great song. (Yes, I am sentimental!) But
life goes on, and a few tears every now and then is a release!! Or maybe I am just a nutt!!!!! LOL
