The problem with the electric bass, especially with round wound strings, is that the notes ring waaay to long. Your technique is fine but ultimately, I would love to hear this on the upright. Nice job, though!
There's Music Minus One piano accompaniment play along cd available for this as well as the other studies. I've been practicing them with the piano accompaniment, which has been fun. Ever try it?
