Well than you should get to know the Zune, If you had a zune you can use it for some games on the xbox360 like lips or whatever and all the friends you have on xbox live (if you even have an xbox360 or live for that matter) you will have them on your zune.
I'm not trying to bash the Zune, but the numbers speak for themselves. I have the latest 64 Gb iPod touch, and I love it, but the only thing I saw that the Zune HD had that I liked was its brushed aluminum shell as opposed to the iPod's polished stainless steel (scratch/fingerprint magnet). Still, when you look at the numbers it's no longer the mp3 market...it's the iPod market!
Social networking? Why would that matter. on the iPod touch you can get free apps for AIM, Facebook, Twitter, and more... isn't that social networking? All I know is, it's better than letting someone listen to a song then make them pay for it like the Zunes do. In my opinion the iPod has cooler features but the Zune has nice packaging and the Zune network look nicer than iTunes. - Despite that, I still like iPod better until Microsoft finally makes something worth the money.

Ugh, the people saying that the iPod is the best MP3 player in the world make me sick. There are plenty of better devices, Apple just has better marketing and an app store.

ipod classic 7th gen is BY FAR the best mp3 player on the market. i personally think ipod touch is crap. no memory space, low battery, and boring apps (trust me, i have one, and need to upgrade FAST) the zune is great, and i considered buying one, but im opting for a classic. im sure there are other great mp3 players on the market, but i dont think any of them can compete with the classic. and when the 8th gen comes out, i think it will be even better. supposedly it will run on flash memory.

@youfod but you don't get to keep all the songs. So you have to spend $15 a month every month, what happens if you don't have any songs that you like that month, you still have to pay.If you listen to their advertisements you would know this. But to each their own.

Before you open your mouth go and read the fine print for the zune pass you idiot. This is directly from their site. "Songs you get with a Zune Pass can be copied to up to three computers and three Zune players, but they can't be burned to CD. If you want to do that, buy those songs using Microsoft Points or song credits." That seems way better then the iTunes store huh? (sarcasm) You retard.

You have to pay $14.99 per month, and you only get to keep 10 songs a month, that is $1.49 per song, That is all you get to keep! Sure you can listen to other music, but it will expire and you don't get to listen to it after that. Im not putting the Zune down, im putting the "Zune Pass" down, its crap! I prefer the iPhone, that is what i have, and i love it.

Can zune acess Youtube with only one click? Does Zune have an accelerometer? can you play games on zune? can you send and e-mail on zune? Can you control zune with your voice? NO!!!! iPod CAN!!!! Zune is crap!!!! I have 3 iPods and i'm going to buy the fourth because they are really amazing. Apple FOREVER!

Well than you should get to know the Zune, If you had a zune you can use it for some games on the xbox360 like lips or whatever and all the friends you have on xbox live (if you even have an xbox360 or live for that matter) you will have them on your zune.

I'm not trying to bash the Zune, but the numbers speak for themselves. I have the latest 64 Gb iPod touch, and I love it, but the only thing I saw that the Zune HD had that I liked was its brushed aluminum shell as opposed to the iPod's polished stainless steel (scratch/fingerprint magnet). Still, when you look at the numbers it's no longer the mp3 market...it's the iPod market!

Social networking? Why would that matter. on the iPod touch you can get free apps for AIM, Facebook, Twitter, and more... isn't that social networking? All I know is, it's better than letting someone listen to a song then make them pay for it like the Zunes do. In my opinion the iPod has cooler features but the Zune has nice packaging and the Zune network look nicer than iTunes. - Despite that, I still like iPod better until Microsoft finally makes something worth the money.

@callumdiggle It's pretty popular after the Apple products. If it uses flash, I'll ditch my iPod Touch. A 16g Zune is $200, same as an 8g iPod Touch. If it has the same features, and maybe games (don't care too much about, since the touch screen shit makes them gimmicky like the kiddy Wii motion games), I'll recommend it.

I think its easy to agree that both Ipod and Zune are both fucking amazing peices of technology. I love the Ipod (all forms) and Zune (all forms) equally.
However Zune software for the computer is better off in my opinion. If apple made Itunes not annoying, then i'd be completely 50%

the people that have the ipod touch are the shitty dicknose bandwagoners who dont have a mind of their own. i had an ipod once, but only cuz i got it for a present. you wan to know what happened? it broke, so i sent it in, about a month later it came back broken, so i sent it back, about 3-4 weeks later, it came back. but the battery life was only about 30 minutes. so i gave up on apple. and switched to the better device. zune it up
