@daniel0771 You can make 450 without issue... 500 is pushing it but the motor will probably last. Anything more than that and only time will tell when it'll go. When mine went I was at about 600 for about 3 months beating the crap out of it. I just wanted to see how long it would last at that level.
@daniel0771 yes the stock block had a hole in both sides. The cank was destroyed. The piston and rod shattered, and the inside of the block was completely destroyed. Absolutely nothing was salvageable from the old motor. Unfortunately.
hah damn same thing happened to me dude i have a 2005 mustang gt with a t-64 turbo from turbonetics i had it tuned for 7lbs of boost and me and my friend decided to up the boost so we made a boost controller from home depot set it to 9 pounds and did like 10 runs on it back to back until it blew a piston. at least the block is fine we just got all forged internals so im happy about that.
@greendraco1 no offense, but your first problem was probably the home depot boost controller. You probably had a boost spike. 9 lbs should be fine. on 9lbs you were probably making around 480ish whp and you should last for years at that. Mine didn't go till I was pushing 14 lbs of boost and I did multiple pulls for a few months strait before it went. I'd have to say either your tune was messed up or you got a boost spike. Congrats on the built motor though. I have a stroker and bigger turbo now

@greendraco1 BTW I have a startup video on here of my new motor and way bigger turbo setup... oh and it's got a tr6060 now as well!
