i wanna buy a guitar but im not sure which one should i buy.I fancy metallica sound but im sick of esp sound because its so heavy that it started being annoying to me .So i want a guitar with a really beautiful metal sound but not too heavy, and cool clean sound.its smth between gibson explorer 1976 and jackson.can you help me?
Hey...dude....I liked your thesis on this....by the way....suggest me a good Electric Guitar within 250 US$.....I actually wanna play Metallica, Iron Maiden, Slayer...etc...
Walts right. I picked up a Starcaster ( by Fender ) @ Costco ( 125.00) and it sounded as good as some of the more expensive ones I have played.
I have had Yamahas @ 200.00 that sound and feel real good as well. There are a lot of good ones out there, it just has to feel and sound good to you. Places like Guitar center and other stores display a bunch so you can find the one that fit you. Oak
i no what guitar i would of got when i started a kirk hammett esp u cant gpo wrong with it its a gd guitar a gd sound wicked pick ups a trem system lock in system and just the guitar its self is great yeah i no wat ur thinkin expensive but well worth it
If your looking for a reasonable priced guitar look into a washburn ea16 or a tanglewood evolution they both sound and look great they, i was they same when i first started i wanted to learn the acoustic but for a while you might find it very uncomfortable on your fingers which can put you off so i went and bought an electric guitar to learn on you will find it more easy and enjoyable to learn on like i did and then you can try out an acoustic because your figers will be more use to it
Ok heres the deal, i have Never played the guitar but its been my dream and i would like to start with an acoustic i geuss, i don't know if i am good or not i know almost nothing about which brands are better, the most money willing to spend its probally $0.00-$250.00 at the most, i have never actually even touched a guitar so please help me,
ya im kinda the same as you i want a guitar pretty bad id love music so i decided why not try to start playing some...but i am pretty sure i want a electric considering im into bands kinda like escape the fate...or i am looking for there sorta sound i have no idea bout guitars..only had 1 friend ever get 1 and he didnt even play it at all...
you can get a good all around acoustic for about 100 to 150$, just remember your a beginner. get the cheapest and reasonable you can get. go with a friend who plays guitar if you could
i've played an accoustic guitar for 1 and a half year and i played an electric at mi friends house and i wasnt expecting how much of a string difference there was lol it sounds weird but im am buy an electric very soon and from personal experiance, its deffinatly smarter, easier, and in mi case better to learn on an accoustic
well the info line you have in ur profile tells me what kind of person you are so ill stop fueling your fire cus you live to piss off people like u say in ur pro so... its not woreth arguing.
If you really have got mony buy ibanez or jackson for metal --> Fender or Gibson for versatlity If you havent t so much moneylike me 8) get a epiphone , squier , yamaha or ibanez
what if you cant play guitar? lets say i whant to buy 1 to learn playing guitar then i dont know how to play so how do i know which guitar would be good?
good advice... FIND A GUITAR YOU LIKE AND BUY IT!!! main thing is... BE SURE TO SHOP AROUND!!! and dont buy anything from ebay!!!! you need to personally play the guitar before you buy it..
also good advice about playing all your own songs on an acoustic guitar... WHY??? Because if you can entertain people with an accoustic guitar you are talented...
if you need an electric guitar to play well...then you should try another instrument..
bottom line is u need to go to your local guitar store and try it out. My favorite band is blink 182 so i figured i should get the epiphone tom delonge es 333. I ordered it online and hated it. Returned it a few days and went to guitar center the next day and picked up a mexican made telecaster, loved it and it works for basically all styles
I feel that I need a new guitar. My one is basic I had it for like... 2 years and I want a new guitar. I want a "Jackson" or "ESP". I like rock and metal. I want something cool! But.. I don't want to overdo it e.g. I get a massive "V Guitar" That says "FUCK LIFE" I don't want that Trash Metal is my one of my first choices. So I think I should go with that?
i just went to a pawn shop with my friend and i didnt know that we could play the guitars with the amps so i played with some sweet red one and he played with a cool white one and now i want a guitar but i also LOVE drumming and idk what to play and buy. What should i get?
metal or death metal try either a BC Rich or Dean.. although their stereotypes try them before you buy them. I mean the pickups and pedals are just as important to sound as the guitar.
if i was to pick one non-gibson or fender try "BC Rich Draco" if you've got 700-1000$ lying around, the best V guitar shape so far to me :).
I couldnt disagree with you more saying distortion is a "saftey net". For instance sweep picking, playing arpeggios, they sound horrible with or w/o distortion, even worse with distortion if your not doing it right. That means not letting notes right out etc. Also out of my hundreds of metal CD's I own, 90 have acoustic parts. And most important, never do just one style of music, be well rounded and when looking for a gig you'll be more appreciated.
Distortion is sometimes used as a safety net. When practicing you should always practice with a clean tone until perfection. I like your perspective tho. Your awesome.
Thank you :) As far as sweep arpeggios go I always practice with distortion just because the feedback and extra noises that get thrown in there, I can do an arpeggio better clean then with distortion. The clean practice works for somethings though no doubt. I will say there is some truth in newer guitar players using distortion as a way of masking the fact they do suck :)
I do a video about transcribing notes from piano to guitar and vice cersa. You have to know the notes on guitar and then play those equivalnets on piano. So if I play a c chord on Guitar, then learn C chord on pian, and do that for the whole song, etc. you'll get it - I promise!
You are are great person! Thank you for giving! I've learned learned a lot more music thank to your vid on reading tabs, and I got a great new perspective on buying a new guitar! Thank you!!!
Start off with a Classical Nylon stringed guitar , i play rock and stuff like that, you develop the basics on the Classical guitar, it develops your hand muscles because the neck is perticularly wide on a classical guitar

some of the most renown brands are not always the best so gibson fender etc are sometimes not the best choice
i prefer dean's but thats just it its a matter of personal preference
so go to ur local store and try some humbucker equiped guitars
and chose by which feels more natural
