  • Maestro by Gibson - 6-String Full-Size Acoustic Guitar <is that a good guitar?

  • @DreamerLove11 never played it

  • even though jems are expensive, they are amazing!!!

  • ibanez rg used=good price & amazing guitar

  • lol reading the chat room is funny

  • i love gibson and yamaha

i dont know why but i always get either

price doesnt say anything. true. it doesnt.

  • Which one should I save for: BC rich mockingbird, Carvin v220, or Gibson Flying V?

I play in the order thrash, instrumental rock, and hard rock

  • @Kingddd333 go to the store and play them

  • guitar hero

  • @pulsedan student hero

  • TELECASTERS RULE!---LOVE THAT TWANG!

  • im gonna get Gibson Flying V faded, but if i could i would get Annihilator Flying V its AWESOME to bad i can't get it

  • Hey...dude....I liked your thesis on this....by the way....suggest me a good Electric Guitar within 250 US$.....I actually wanna play Metallica, Iron Maiden, Slayer...etc...

  • @papan1990 um... starcasters are good to learn on... thats what ive got atm, but ibanez has some as well...

  • @thaspitfirekid I know to play....I dont want a learners guitar....I want a decent one for around 250

  • @papan1990 Ibanez has a couple in that price range, dean vendetta... go on guitarcenter's website to check

  • @papan1990 Agile guitars

  • @papan1990 go to the store. i have no idea

  • Walts right. I picked up a Starcaster ( by Fender ) @ Costco ( 125.00) and it sounded as good as some of the more expensive ones I have played.

I have had Yamahas @ 200.00 that sound and feel real good as well. There are a lot of good ones out there, it just has to feel and sound good to you. Places like Guitar center and other stores display a bunch so you can find the one that fit you. Oak

  • @oaklandfla2 exactly

  • if the electric is really cheap could it suck?

  • @crash9321 any guitar can suck... well not really the higher the price the tighter the quality control

  • @crash9321 usually no.

  • what is the best guitar for punk rock?

  • @Metallications187 hello kitty

  • @Metallications187

Les Paul, HSS Strat, nothing that looks too metal.

  • @LeeChavezMusic jaguar HS.. FTW

  • get a guitar that stays in tune for more than 20 minutes

  • If your going for death metal i recomend the Schecter Damien 6 Its a reasonable price and it sounds great

  • i no what guitar i would of got when i started a kirk hammett esp u cant gpo wrong with it its a gd guitar a gd sound wicked pick ups a trem system lock in system and just the guitar its self is great yeah i no wat ur thinkin expensive but well worth it

  • If your looking for a reasonable priced guitar look into a washburn ea16 or a tanglewood evolution they both sound and look great they, i was they same when i first started i wanted to learn the acoustic but for a while you might find it very uncomfortable on your fingers which can put you off so i went and bought an electric guitar to learn on you will find it more easy and enjoyable to learn on like i did and then you can try out an acoustic because your figers will be more use to it

  • i found a brand new ibanez acoustic/ electric w buit in tuner for $225 i looked it up and orig went for $700-$800. So look for one online

  • Ok heres the deal, i have Never played the guitar but its been my dream and i would like to start with an acoustic i geuss, i don't know if i am good or not i know almost nothing about which brands are better, the most money willing to spend its probally $0.00-$250.00 at the most, i have never actually even touched a guitar so please help me,

  • ya im kinda the same as you i want a guitar pretty bad id love music so i decided why not try to start playing some...but i am pretty sure i want a electric considering im into bands kinda like escape the fate...or i am looking for there sorta sound i have no idea bout guitars..only had 1 friend ever get 1 and he didnt even play it at all...

  • Yamaha

  • you can get a good all around acoustic for about 100 to 150$, just remember your a beginner. get the cheapest and reasonable you can get. go with a friend who plays guitar if you could

  • Anyone know what guitar to get for someone with small hands, cant afford an electric & loves Rock AND classical music?

  • i've played an accoustic guitar for 1 and a half year and i played an electric at mi friends house and i wasnt expecting how much of a string difference there was lol it sounds weird but im am buy an electric very soon and from personal experiance, its deffinatly smarter, easier, and in mi case better to learn on an accoustic

  • Haha it seems like the people in the chat room are already helping him out.

  • @kirk45hammett haha

  • epiphone sg special or a ripoff brand guitar

  • would anyone recomend a kramer?

  • Kramers are good. Id say they are for heavy metal Right? mostly have seen them in old school metal.

  • Ibanez, ESP, Jackson, Don't buy a Gibson, way to much money.

  • is nova a good brand?

  • @choco33333333 no idea

  • gibson sg

  • yeah not pops but like normal music like not too loud cause i hate deathmetal oh what brand do u perfer for guitars

  • dude please help i wanna get a guitar but i like pop genre or like a love song and stuff o

  • prs or gibson but why would you want to play pop its so way overated

  • i dont think its cool to judge what someone wants to play it dont matter if its over ratted or not its what he likes.

  • well its a genre that doesnt deserve the credit

  • and why is that?

  • because they sing very poorly they play intruments very poorly and there song are poorly writen

  • well the info line you have in ur profile tells me what kind of person you are so ill stop fueling your fire cus you live to piss off people like u say in ur pro so... its not woreth arguing.

  • well thats really just a joke

  • @cobraopts7 i disagree

  • get a telecaster they are good for pop or a strat those are the only guitars i ever see in pop music. or gretch, the beatles used gretch.

  • dean razorback is perfect for that

  • @zakoneandonly no idea which one. what did you windup getting?

  • only problem is I don't which guitar I like, I might want an acoustic as well as an electric

  • If you really have got mony buy ibanez or jackson for metal --> Fender or Gibson for versatlity If you havent t so much moneylike me 8) get a epiphone , squier , yamaha or ibanez

  • ya jackson, esp, and ibanez for metal ans some epiphones, fender and most epiphones for versitility but mainly fender and gibson for clean and bluess

unless ur like some one i know that plays metal on a fender lmao

  • what brand & model?

  • your guitar you have what is it?

  • i have made another decision im getting a dean z-x that is plain black

  • i decide im playing guitar and i want to be like heavy metal so what should i get

  • some of the most renown brands are not always the best so gibson fender etc are sometimes not the best choice

i prefer dean's but thats just it its a matter of personal preference

so go to ur local store and try some humbucker equiped guitars

and chose by which feels more natural

  • i like ibanez for metal!

  • what if you cant play guitar? lets say i whant to buy 1 to learn playing guitar then i dont know how to play so how do i know which guitar would be good?

  • buy a cheap one then. epiphone les paul with small amp. of cheap fender.

  • good advice... FIND A GUITAR YOU LIKE AND BUY IT!!! main thing is... BE SURE TO SHOP AROUND!!! and dont buy anything from ebay!!!! you need to personally play the guitar before you buy it..

also good advice about playing all your own songs on an acoustic guitar... WHY??? Because if you can entertain people with an accoustic guitar you are talented...

if you need an electric guitar to play well...then you should try another instrument..

  • hey, i am a noob at choosing ...

but usually how does people choose ??? the neck size ???

and can ibanez only play rock songs ? can it play clasical or funk ?? Or is it specialized in rock ? or those metal ?

  • bass is realy hard to use and you must be master that bass sound good

  • bottom line is u need to go to your local guitar store and try it out. My favorite band is blink 182 so i figured i should get the epiphone tom delonge es 333. I ordered it online and hated it. Returned it a few days and went to guitar center the next day and picked up a mexican made telecaster, loved it and it works for basically all styles

  • I feel that I need a new guitar. My one is basic I had it for like... 2 years and I want a new guitar. I want a "Jackson" or "ESP". I like rock and metal. I want something cool! But.. I don't want to overdo it e.g. I get a massive "V Guitar" That says "FUCK LIFE" I don't want that Trash Metal is my one of my first choices. So I think I should go with that?
  • i just went to a pawn shop with my friend and i didnt know that we could play the guitars with the amps so i played with some sweet red one and he played with a cool white one and now i want a guitar but i also LOVE drumming and idk what to play and buy. What should i get?

  • guitar rocks - so do drums tho :) Whichever your more passionate about - I can't make that choice for you

  • drums ar too much hassel....

    get a guitar

    there's way more choice

    and better to transport

  • depends.. what music do you play? Indoors? With friends? Whats your favorite color, etc :)

  • metal or death metal try either a BC Rich or Dean.. although their stereotypes try them before you buy them. I mean the pickups and pedals are just as important to sound as the guitar.

if i was to pick one non-gibson or fender try "BC Rich Draco" if you've got 700-1000$ lying around, the best V guitar shape so far to me :).

  • jackson warrior

  • Amen!!!!

  • Wow! Now that's what I'm talkin about :)

  • I couldnt disagree with you more saying distortion is a "saftey net". For instance sweep picking, playing arpeggios, they sound horrible with or w/o distortion, even worse with distortion if your not doing it right. That means not letting notes right out etc. Also out of my hundreds of metal CD's I own, 90 have acoustic parts. And most important, never do just one style of music, be well rounded and when looking for a gig you'll be more appreciated.

  • Distortion is sometimes used as a safety net. When practicing you should always practice with a clean tone until perfection. I like your perspective tho. Your awesome.

  • Thank you :) As far as sweep arpeggios go I always practice with distortion just because the feedback and extra noises that get thrown in there, I can do an arpeggio better clean then with distortion. The clean practice works for somethings though no doubt. I will say there is some truth in newer guitar players using distortion as a way of masking the fact they do suck :)

  • i play the keyboard with different effects and i play the electric, now how do you transfer a gig you learned on the keyboard to the guitar

  • I do a video about transcribing notes from piano to guitar and vice cersa. You have to know the notes on guitar and then play those equivalnets on piano. So if I play a c chord on Guitar, then learn C chord on pian, and do that for the whole song, etc. you'll get it - I promise!

  • 3:33 = So true...but I like to try those that are a bit out of my price range either way (we're all dreamers)

  • You are are great person! Thank you for giving! I've learned learned a lot more music thank to your vid on reading tabs, and I got a great new perspective on buying a new guitar! Thank you!!!

  • you can play anything with a les paul. of course im all for rockabilyl and the stray cats so i love gretsche. and the ibanez artcore hollowbody

  • THATS MY QUESTION!!!

  • Start off with a Classical Nylon stringed guitar , i play rock and stuff like that, you develop the basics on the Classical guitar, it develops your hand muscles because the neck is perticularly wide on a classical guitar

  • what can i say another insperational video ive got several electric guitars;fenders.

after watching this i want to play acustic as often as electric, as it is true the song writting reflects on the instrument you play

    thanks 4 the vid

  • 2nd comment :) 10 mins ago i learned how to read sheet music thanks to you. Thanks you. And i hope you post more piano vids.

  • w00t!! first view. You make amazing videos. I wanna learn playing piano. your videos help with my motivation a lot. Thanx and keep rockin'.
