@DemonoAngell Probably because you'd hear Anette's famous "hay yaya yeah, hay yayaya yeah" thing when she tries to hit Tarja's high notes. Trust me, I've watched Anette's live performances when she's singing The Siren and Sleeping Sun. That's what she does when she hits high notes.

This is the perfect sample of why a band should NOT change the Lead Vocalist.

Nightwish used to be the one of a kind band, a GREAT opera songer mixed with Power/Speed Metal. But now it's just regular Power/Speed Metal like a million of other bands out there.

And Anette literally sucks live.

Sure, you can change the Guitarist, Drummer, Bassist but the band will sound pretty much the same. But change the lead vocalist, and you got a new band...

Power, yeah, but not speed. Symphonic Melodic Gothic Power Metal or something I'd say.
