  • no one is holding a gun to you\r head to work there and you are still there. go somewhere else if you don't like it there

  • @STLShu Surprisingly enough people still bitch when their food takes more than 5 minutes to get.

  • GPS said they are 6.5 minutes drive away from me. Called and they said they don't deliver so far. No wonder its so fast, they can deliver everything on a pogo stick.

  • @STLShu dude my place is 3.0 miles and they wont deliver to me! it has to be within 2.5

  • oh wow me and my husband got screwed over there at the time i wasnt with him he was my manager his assistante manager didnt like me and other emplyes so she fired us he tryed to fight for us but since the assistante was fucken his boss n his boss was friends with everone there they fired him funny thing is we told them she was racial profiling they only ones she fired is the old guy the mexican 3 blacks n an asian....plus its too fucken expensive id rather go to taco bell

  • 4 years!? why would anybody waste their life at a sub place? LOL!

  • Jimmy John's sucks! I would rather walk to Subway, Firehouse, or Jersey Mike's before ordering something that I can make better at home!!!! Jimmy John's needs to catch the Subway to the Firehouse so Jersey Mike can show him how to make a real sub!!

  • Hey u full time scum faggot u dont deserve ANYTHING corporate made let alone a share. Ur just a low life employee, they risked their money on the line to get the franchise to where it is today, not you. As to workers make a company, ya, but not the shit ones thats been working for only over a yr

  • Corporate bastards.

  • Jimmy Johns sucks. I refuse to pay 5 dollars for something I can make at home.

  • Yay, let's help our rich masters buy yachts!

  • I would fire his ass

  • I am a delivery driver at a Jimmy John's in West Virginia. I ride a bicycle everyday. My major complaint with Jimmy John's is the lack of concern for the weather. Over the past week, our temperatures have reached the mid 90's. I wear a black tee everyday. I feel that this is a danger to my person, at least to some degree. Furthermore, in response to "LongliveNessie", bike delivery drivers do NOT get DMR (the 5%) that other drivers recieve. Minimum wage is a painful thing.

  • @cartellentertainment I am the only worker in a four head household. I have 2 children and my wife is unable to work at the moment. Even with my tips, we scratch to get by. Tips themselves are flaky at best. There are times I have delivered well over $200 in food and only recieved $10 in tips. That equals one package of diapers (just so you have a reference)

  • @cartellentertainment I feel for you man but these jobs aren't meant to support families. They're for college kids or single people. Do you have any education or other job skills to leverage?

  • @YouSoundButtHurt Unfortunately, I was kicked out of college to do a drug habit. Years later, I have straightened my life up and became a family man. This was the only job I could find because of my history. Currently, I am attempting to learn C++ and other languages in hopes that I can better our (my family) situation.

  • @cartellentertainment Good luck to you brother. Keep moving forward!

  • @YouSoundButtHurt always man. got to little girls to make happy and provide for. they're motivation!

  • @cartellentertainment They're proud of you man no matter what you do.

  • @cartellentertainment then take your shirt off and put it back on before you come back in the store.

  • @cartellentertainment Dude a black T is the least of your worries in 90 degree weather. When I was in the army like 10 years ago training in San Antonio Texas in full BDUs and gear I didn't much like it either but it was over 100 degrees. Keep your chin up bro and drink lots of water.

  • You're complaining about $7.25 an hour driving, plus tips, plus 5%! I get $6.00 an hour plus tips, and it averages to about $13 an hour! how much are you getting?! and then complaining about it?

  • If a company actually let their workers unionise they would have to be the fucking most retarded company ever and would be out of business in at least 6 months.

  • Here is a clue. If you dont like working there then get a new job! This is the most stupid thing I have heard. Do your employer a favor and quite.

  • Get some real job skills and/or education you fast food nerds.

  • @YouSoundButtHurt Whos gonna deliver you your sandwich when your drunk an hungry at your house an your wife isnt home to make it? Jimmy John's thats who.

  • @DavisfromThomas Shit... you got me there. Keep fighting the good fight son!

  • douchebags :)

  • What you accomplished here is eliminating the potential for another hire at that store by making the cost of unskilled labor more expensive.

I hope one day you will realize that something as stupid as trying to unionize entry level jobs means you have done harm to people.

I also hope you get sued for your allegations of harassments.

This may seem like fun and exciting for a go-nowhere progressive kid, but sandwiches are not SKILLED labor.

  • You have the job skills of a monkey, why should anyone pay you more to do the lowest form of labor. You do not even seem to realize how lucky you are to find work. You should be ashamed of yourself. Jimmy Johns restaurants are licensed franchises, the stores are not owned by a corporation so you are screwing a small biz owner. The owners of a small restaurant do not make "Millions":

You are too stupid to realize you should be embarrassed to announce that you earn minimum wage, lol

  • You skill level has maxed out at the ability to make a F#@#$%n sandwich, get some skills, you wont need a union to get paid more.

  • I'm often amused to find that "if you don't like it, get a different job" charminheads are also the first to bemoan unemployment compensation, food stamps, rent vouchers and government-mandated affordable healthcare (and here's a newsflash for the stupid: work isn't easy to come by these days). In that spirit, I hope that any of these people who got canned proceeded to collect tax-funded welfare benefits for the maximum allowable duration while playing video games and smokin' out all day long.

  • If you are a delivery driver at Jimmy johns You make $7.25 an hour PLUS TIPS!!!!!

    Shut up spoon fed babies

  • whatever u do, if u work at Jimmy John's do not smoke at anytime on your shift

  • i have all papperwork concerning this jan 30 2011 i worked for 11 months as a driver and was let go for no reason i called everyday even came in after they rehired someone and they kept telling me biz was slow even blew up on me for trying to come in to ask

    they are sneaky sly ppl

  • jimmy johns in vegas pushed me out of a job after i refused to blow up on them for repeated attempts to get me angry by false write ups and even over a week of no work

then they told me biz was slow for 3 weeks and let me go i wa snot fired but i stole my folder and it was full of write ups with my name forged and hardly readable

    sahara decature vegas 702-876jimy

Dennis Trujillo Jr asst manager pot head

miranda clayton pothead dates the asst manager and thier sisters all work for jimmy

  • If you don't like it get a different job. They are the owners, OWNERS, Find a different job, or be happy to make any money. If the compensation is so bad they would have problems replacing you, but they don't since it is mostly college kids making some money on the side. Get a real job, or stop crying about it.

  • margart is claiming that she talked to the district manager, she DIDN'T! how do i know, i was the second person she talked to that morning. had she fallowed prosedure, it would have been her choice what to do with the meat. instead, she bailled, left, DIDN'T CARE! the health inspector he didn't even throw all the meat away, a fourth, maybe. oh, one last thing, a union worker was the one that TURNED off the cooler in the first place so it's the unions fault. so the union tried to poison uptown.

  • do you guys believe in magic? Join the happiness express and find out what we can do together.

  • jimmy johns already charges a fucking fortune for mediocre sandwiches... if you guys make jack shit off bread and meat, unionize and rip these shitheads apart.

  • Disclaimer: I'm a retail manager .

Because someone works in food service or retail does not mean they should have to get minimum wage. They often work harder, have worse hours, and have to show composure in the face of abusive customers and sometimes bosses.

The service industry needs a pretty big revamp in regards to human resources. People deserve to be treated with respect, and just because someone serves you food rather than doing your taxes doesn't mean they shouldn't have a good life.

  • stand together!!!! do not get discouraged! THUMBS UP!

  • Thank you for doing the job that you do, however please realize that you are working for a company that provides low wages to be able to compete on price. If they give you wage increase, their sandwich prices increase and then they will no longer be competitive. If you want to earn more, find another job!

  • @schucker88 It wasn't strictly about wages first off, The bulk of his argument was about sick days; broken promises and working conditions.

Secondly what's wrong with negotiating for more money? I guess your only allowed to be a capitalist if your not making minimum wage.

  • ALL GOOD!! It's a starting Job!! If you don't like making minimum wage get another job! LAZY!! Why do you feel like you are entitled to what other people do?

  • to Paul91384:

First of all these are not starting jobs. These are the ONLY jobs available right now. I work with people who have degrees and are stuck at JJ's and other fast food jobs. Some of my co-workers have kids, real bills and real shit to deal with. Second: I (me in the video) have put in thousands of hours over the past 2 years to help get better conditions at Jimmy John's. I work hard and sacrifice most of my free time for this. Please don't call me or my fellow workers "lazy".

  • Still to Paul91384:

Third: I feel entitled because my co-workers and I are the ones making this company their money. The owners sit back and count the millions of dollars in profits they earn off our hard labor without hardly lifting a finger.

There's nothing wrong with making more than minimum wage in fast food. There is however something very wrong with earning a wage that is a fraction of what it is eventually worth to the owners in profits.

  • @davisritsema you don't know what the owners do! I bet they themselves have worked countless hours to get the company where it is at!

  • @Paul91384

I mean, I've worked countless hours to get other people's companies where their at, any person who works for a company has. Sorry, you're not gonna' get me to feel bad about somebody's rich boss because they work hard, we all do.
