  • Im not a Pro but shouldnt you do that whole thing a glass-tank and finally fill it with water?

  • So is it because i used playsand in my tanks that my plants grow so slowly and never spread?

  • dustin do u know if dwarf sag willdo ok in a sand bottom tank just sand and c02 and liquid ferts

  • Would Doing it in a smaller Tank (5 Gallons) Make it harder to maintain in the long run?

  • Is someone paying 40 dollars for that amount of plants? I can have that and even a lot more for free, Big Anubias barteri, big javafern, Echinodorus bleheri, Anubias barteri varia nana, Vallisneria americana, Vallisneria neotropicalis... all for free.

  • @Axolotlvriend Send me some plants.

  • @jaredultimatum

You can come to my place, I don´t send them. I am from Belgium.

  • hey dustin, i was wondering if you would be able to send me those same plants? are those hard to maintain? I'm trying to start a small planted tank. are those good for beginners?

  • ha. after watching this for the 3 time i realized i set my tanks up going down from right to left

  • i dont get how u grow plants on the drift wood can u explain to me

  • @JDCredible You can tie them to it with rubber bands or fishing line and then soon after a while it will establish itself onto the driftwood.you can only do this with a few plants eg anubias jave fern

  • @Bazil1869 thanks

  • hey i got some unusal wierd shaped rocks that i cant make them look good ...in a rectangle aquarium.should i maybe break them up?

  • Hey man,

So i'm new to the whole idea of aquascaping and this question might sound stupid but how the hell do you get the plants to stay on the large rock/drift wood?

    Thanks!

  • @Drakogate tie them with black tread, only annubias and java fern don't need to be rooted

  • @Dustinsfishtanks yeap black thread works fine but i prefer thin fishline looks cleaner

  • Would this work for my 120 gallon?

And how much does the dirt cost?

  • @JamieT96 that would work like a charm. I have never done it but i could mix you up a bag-o dirt for a 120. All of the plants you see there would make a 120 look epic. though a 120 you might want some larger driftwood...

  • @Dustinsfishtanks That would be great. There may be a problem and that is that I live in the UK.

  • @JamieT96 that's a deal killer... thanks for watching though!

  • Damn,Ii have to buy from you!

  • man i need tlo get my order in but i have yet to sell the fluval and i am hoping to switch to dirt some time really soon after christmas maybe that weekend? idk just need to get it up on criags list but keep for getting
