@DXSwanton, I'm not trying to be rude or anything so don't think of me as some kind of asshole or something that's trying to prove you wrong but i saw an interview where ronnie was super pissed because Ronnie was stepping in for Max in a fight that Max started, and when they found out the guy was dead Max blamed Ronnie even though he didn't do it. Max betrayed Ronnie, and yes he was on drugs but he also revealed that Max was on it too, which seeing some of the interviews where he looks wasted...
@DXSwanton, also one man does not make a band,true. but when a guy is gone it can destroy the other members. Take Avenged Sevenfold for example, Jimmy was by no means the whole band because the other four guys are awesome, but they considered splitting up because of his death, which means that 1 guy could have resulted in the loss of such a great band.
But I do remember somewhere in an interview not very long ago, Ronnie described it differently. He said that he himself was contacted by an old friend of him and Max's, and that friend started shit talking them and said he was going to kill them, they disregarded it. Well then apparently they met up, and the guy wasn't kidding, and they started to fight, I don't know where Max was in all this, but then the guy got killed and Ronnie got it, Max said -
- nothing against Ronnie and tried helping him cope with the idea of going to jail. Then since they couldn't move on, they asked him to leave the band. That's how Ronnie described it once, but who knows.
And, yes, that may be true, but that's not the case with Escape The Fate, they members and the band itself have improved and moved on to higher heights since then, and so has Ronnie with his life.
The only thing destroyed was fans that can't get a straight story on the truth and grasp reality.
And for a quick album, it did kick ass very well and show how much they really did improve. And if the new album is anything like is rumoured, louder, more screaming, and more like old ETF, alot of people bashing them will love them again and realize how stupid they were, since it has more time to be thought out, it should be way better. Face it, Craig is great live and on CD, while Ronnie was great on CD, and only barely cut it live, Craig sings Ronnie songs better than Ronnie, in all truth -

As for the 'going soft' thing and 'now they're generic', no, actually, they're still pretty unique as it is, and as for the last album, Yes, I will admit, it wasn't ETF standard, but if you knew ANYTHING at all, you'd realize, the oly reaosn that is, is because, when this whole incident happened and they had to kick him out to move on with their career and pick up Craig, Epitaph gave them a short deadline to make a new album that was decent enough to sell -

lol i love all this bitching coz they dont know both sides of the story all they think is that ronnie was kicked out when actually craig was kicked out of blessthefall joined them for a while then they asked him to join and if you dont like craig coz he "taking his place" then dont listen to the new stuff and no shit a band is gonna replace a singer and he is only bringing his own style into the music so all of you guys are epic fails...

all you people just commenting about craig you should be happy he is in the band , ronnie is in jail longer for getting caught with heroine in there, escape the fate woud be over if it wasnt for craig. i still agree with you lot that when ronnie was in the band they was better but id rather the band carry one with a differnt singer than be on hiatus till some guy gets his act together and out of jail.

"One man does NOT make a band", that statement applies for ALL bands and people, even Ronnie, he's a great lyricist and CD singer, but he had issues in his life he needed to work out, he even was grateful that they kicked him out and he was sent to jail, read the interviews, because it helped him straighten out his life, get off drugs, and get a new start with a new band. Don't debate unless you know everything you need to about it and not just false rumours. Keeping their image, not sad .-.

@DXSwanton, I'm not trying to be rude or anything so don't think of me as some kind of asshole or something that's trying to prove you wrong but i saw an interview where ronnie was super pissed because Ronnie was stepping in for Max in a fight that Max started, and when they found out the guy was dead Max blamed Ronnie even though he didn't do it. Max betrayed Ronnie, and yes he was on drugs but he also revealed that Max was on it too, which seeing some of the interviews where he looks wasted...

@DXSwanton, also one man does not make a band,true. but when a guy is gone it can destroy the other members. Take Avenged Sevenfold for example, Jimmy was by no means the whole band because the other four guys are awesome, but they considered splitting up because of his death, which means that 1 guy could have resulted in the loss of such a great band.

But I do remember somewhere in an interview not very long ago, Ronnie described it differently. He said that he himself was contacted by an old friend of him and Max's, and that friend started shit talking them and said he was going to kill them, they disregarded it. Well then apparently they met up, and the guy wasn't kidding, and they started to fight, I don't know where Max was in all this, but then the guy got killed and Ronnie got it, Max said -

- nothing against Ronnie and tried helping him cope with the idea of going to jail. Then since they couldn't move on, they asked him to leave the band. That's how Ronnie described it once, but who knows.
And, yes, that may be true, but that's not the case with Escape The Fate, they members and the band itself have improved and moved on to higher heights since then, and so has Ronnie with his life.
The only thing destroyed was fans that can't get a straight story on the truth and grasp reality.

And for a quick album, it did kick ass very well and show how much they really did improve. And if the new album is anything like is rumoured, louder, more screaming, and more like old ETF, alot of people bashing them will love them again and realize how stupid they were, since it has more time to be thought out, it should be way better. Face it, Craig is great live and on CD, while Ronnie was great on CD, and only barely cut it live, Craig sings Ronnie songs better than Ronnie, in all truth -

As for the 'going soft' thing and 'now they're generic', no, actually, they're still pretty unique as it is, and as for the last album, Yes, I will admit, it wasn't ETF standard, but if you knew ANYTHING at all, you'd realize, the oly reaosn that is, is because, when this whole incident happened and they had to kick him out to move on with their career and pick up Craig, Epitaph gave them a short deadline to make a new album that was decent enough to sell -
