  • the song reminds me of moment of surrender...orgel n drums

  • the falsetto part is Sinead O'Connor....LOL

At their show at Giants Stadium, Bono introduced her pretaped backing vocal as "via satellite, Sinead O'Connor"

  • "This is twat we want!!" Its time U2 made a real rocknroll record again and ditched these linger on fans.

(In response to the comment on the Chicago crowd)

U2s fanbase has become very confused in more recent years.

  • Ticket prices were very reasonable. I paid $57 for my tickets and I was four deep from the stage. I've been to many other shows and paid more to be further away. I'm not really buying your CO2 arguement. Using the claw in bigger venues allows the band to play fewer gigs allowing for less traveling. The band has stated that they will buy enough trees to offset their CO2 emmisions.

  • Ticket prices were cheaper than any other band playing arenas today. Until the last few months, no one gave a SHIT about anyone's carbon footprint. How many lives has Bono saved by convincing the world's superpowers to forgive debt to third world countries? How many lives has he saved by making sure Africa is supplied with malaria drugs? All of the world's government representatives were driven, by LIMOUSINE to the climate conference in Copenhagen, yet you are worried about U2's CO2 footprint?

  • AMAZING... my favourite song EVER

  • sounds like bono to me!

  • yes sounds like the original from passengers almost (the falsetto part) and people said his falsetto was gone HA! He told them eh?

  • It's Sinead Oconner's prerecorded vocals

  • who sang the falsetto on the backing track at soldier field?? it sounds like bono!

  • i think bono.....

  • I was there live as well. To bad the Chicago crowd sucked ass and everyone wanted to sit down.

  • yes and they went to pee and get beer=hope bono didnt think it flopped becuz of that....i had chills...dumb pp

  • no kidding just because people weren't thoughtful enough to at least look up their recent songs on youtube so they would know the words they sat down and waited for streets, wowy and Vertigo! STAND UP PEEPS

  • somebody give the camera man a punch in the balls

  • I'm in the process of uploading 9/13 live debut.

  • Also saw this in Chicago tonight! Amazing.

  • Just saw it live played for the first time ever here in Chicago. Amazing.

  • It was played tonight

  • They have been soundchecking Your Blue Room now and again this tour. I've been to three shows on the first leg but I'm going to be insanely jealous of the US fans if they pull it out, it's one of my favourite tracks. The collaboration between U2 and Brian Eno is again brilliant again in Passengers.

  • FOR THE FIRST TIME PLAYED LIVE

VIVA U2!!!

  • getting dressed NOW to see my u2 tonight and tomorrow in Chicago...:D

oh yeah, Your Blue Room...saw them in Berlin too...the BEST

  • and the astronauts there at the time did like, 4 lines of the song each or something like that

  • damn U2!!! This is my fav song, i love it...why dont they played it in europe????

hope when they come back next year i will hear this song!!

  • Mais euh qu'est ce que je fous en France bordel!

  • If they play this song, it will be only the second song ever played live from the album Passengers. Miss Sarajevo has only been so far.

  • well we will find out for sure tomorrow night

  • considering edge sings falsetto on the studio version of your blue room i would put 100 bucks on it being the edge or someone else maybe but definitely not bono

  • It's actually Bono who does the falsetto on the song. But in this I don't know...I want it to be Bono but his voice isn't the same as it was when he recorded the song.

  • Its Bono on falsetto as Edge is more linear and doesn't duff and tail the end of a word as well as Bono.

  • no way, in the studio version Bono sings the falsetto!!! Here I wouldn't bet on Bono, maybe Edge...

  • Is that bono or the edge doing the falsetto? I really want it to be bono, but judging by his voice over the last few years, performances of the fly etc i'm afraid he's just letting edge do the work :-(

  • This is amazing...he even does the falsetto!

  • I'm VERY curious to see how they change the setlist (if at all). I assume they'll update it.

I wouldn't get my hopes up for "Your Blue Room" to be in the set, though. If you recall the recent Europe tour they actually rehearsed "Drowning Man" on several occasions. But I don't think that song made it into the set. They also played "Electrical Storm" only once the entire tour.

  • They played Electrical Storm three times in Europe... Barcelona, Milan and Gothenburg.

  • I'd bet the house you're wrong on that count this song ties in with a whole thing the did with NASA in fact you can hear Mission Control in the background

  • Great song but not made for a live performance. Not for the full length of the song anyway.

  • OMG I have waited for this song (to be played live) for years.. thank God for U2

  • Thank you! I LOVE THIS SONG. Great song, great album.

  • Well - al I can say is Im glad I saw a few of the shows on the euro leg as this is so boring for a live show - what a waste of a song - people may like it but not in a live show - I'd be off to the bar like a shot which is the only good side to this live!

  • Amazing!

  • Well, I think that the verse at the end isn't going to be done by Adam, but instead astronauts from the ISS...at least, that's what I've heard...which is kind of unfortunate...oh well.

  • I CAN'T believe they're playing this gem! This is great news, I love that song. Bono's falsetto is sounding pretty good too.

  • Can't wait to hear Edge's guitartone at the solo. I also hope Adam will actually speak his lines.

  • Awesome!

  • Great catch. For all the security backstage - I would love to know how they were allowed in to do it.

  • Agreed. I'm a diehard fan, but with only 20-22 songs per show, if they were going to play a B side, let them play Three Sunrises or Love Comes Tumbling. I understand Blue Room is being played due to NASA tie in, but I'm not sure 50,000 fans will care.

  • goose bumps alert!!!!!!!

  • isn´t that great??!! i never understood, why they NOT appreaciated their own work on passengers by playing more of that stuff - just think of "elvis ate america"...

hope, this tune will make it on the setlist....

was that a mobilephone at 2:20 interferrencing at the pa??

  • Great!!
