JL's singing technique has really improved since he started.. now i'm much more confident in his voice when i listen to him live. Although the unbridled emotion he put into his first album, with his gritty high notes, was moving, he wouldn't be able to sustain it in live performances. he's really figured it out, and wow, it's great stuff. i can't wait to own everything he puts out!!!!
