How to Play Free Burned Games on the Nintendo Wii (Version 4.3 Tutorial)

I followed everything you did, but it still says unknown drive,report 20080714, i tried it alot of times, i burned different discs and different iso, but it still doesn't work, PLEASE HELP ME

@Disabledfish I'm pretty sure there is some sort of option on NeoGamma allowing you to play games of different regions, just select language really. I remember getting the ISO to Wii Party which was a Japanese game and it worked fine. And as for the IOS installer, I don't know what to say for that, just continue with the process I guess.

Hello, in installing CIOS at the last stage I do not get "network installation" option and when I am selecting other options I get an error and it can not proceed. Do you have any idea what could be the problem? thank you in advance!

@ashbey83 I have no clue. Reboot your Wii and see if it is there. If not, clear your SD card, put the files back in, and restart the process and see if it's there. If not, I'm sorry, but I can't help you.

@sonikisme No. And I'm not sure if it works for the black Wii, but I do know it doesn't work for colored Wii's. Try it, but I doubt it will work. It mostly works for white ones. I deeply apologize, but if you want to play burned games, you have to load then from a hard rive.

@GalacticElliot yes it does say that but for example with mw3 it just freezes at loading [after it loads and shows how to hold zapper and to use ur strap]

@TheRsRace It's probably just MW3, then. Call of Duty games are famous for their torrents being pieces of shits. Try out a game such as Super Mario Galaxy. If you don't have a white Wii either, then it doesn't work, because I am pretty sure that the new Wii's have different disk inputs only allowing Wii and GameCube games. But yeah, just try that, but if you have a new Wii, then there is no point. You will have to load games off of a hard rive, which I have never mastered.

@kyleburkhardPK Okay man. :) Have you booting up the game more than once from NeoGamma? Because I remember I tried it twice and it gave me that error, and I tried it one more time and it worked. Try booting it multiple times. If it still doesn't work, reply.

@kyleburkhardPK External hard drives work as well. I never did succeed in playing games with an external hard drive/flash drive, so yeah, I do not know much.

@superkman111 You cannot play GameCube games on NeoGamma, that is a totally different process and you will as well need a back-up launcher. I may someday make a tutorial for that.

@YeOoX If you already did everything that was said in the video before trying to play the burned disk, I don't see why not to try out. If you already installed IOS 236, try it out!

yep all is clear there but 1 thing about burning it is when i start the burn it'll go thru the process then the tray will open with a notice saying that the tray had to be closed manually and when i close it it does again then it does it it says the operation was complete ive tried it many times tho i'll keep it up till i hear back from ya and thanks

@MrKing0777 Okay, when burning, it says that. That's normal. Put it back in the disk drive, and click okay. It'll do it again, then make a fruity loop sound saying that it was completed. Close IMGBurn, eject the disk, and then it's pretty much fine. It should work afterwards. If you did this all correctly and you still get errors, I'd say to try doing this whole process again and try again. If you get error 1255 once, just try it 5 more times. If this doesn't work, let me know.

i finally got it to work mess up on my part but now i get 1255 error can you please help with this

@MrKing0777 Try loading it a few more times. Make sure at the bottom it says the same thing as it says for mine. Make sure you're using a DVD-R 4.7 GB disk and make sure that the ISO file works itself. Make sure that your disk isn't fake and make sure you burned it correctly. If it doesn't work, try burning another disk. If it still doesn't work, it is probably just the disk itself.

@MrKing0777 Like, re-hacking it. Re-install the IOS' and just do everything in the video. Also, to be on the safe side, get another ISO and burn it onto another disk just to make sure it works or not. If it doesn't, it's just the type of disks you're using possibly.

The new Wiis (since the red one I believe) can't read burned DVDs. They have a protection against that now... So you HAVE to use USB devices in order to play games for free on your Wii.

@DarkraiDudeEX Um, I am not entirely sure on that. Do these steps, and then go to options on NeoGamma. There should be a setting to change the language of the game. Like, instead of NTSC-J or something like that. It should work, since I have played the European version of Sonic Colours on it, too.
