  • Chuck deserves no less.

  • That track is awsome Jazzy. Good to hear Jazzy stuf on fine audio equipment.

  • The McIntosh MC-1201 Amplifier and McIntosh C-2300 Preamplifier PRICE about 150000 euros beleive!

  • KING OF THE HILL

  • very dynamic sound, that is what I like very much

  • I'll sell my mother for a pair of those B&W's ...lol

  • I'm a beginner audiophile, and I would like to know why amplifiers for sound systems cost a lot more then guitar amplifiers, especially the tube amplifiers.

  • wow that room must so good. thats a 1.2 mack amp with b@w's hooked up. great comanation.

  • すごいです。英語わからないから日本語でのコメントでごめんなさい。ほんとうにすごいです。感動しました。

  • @twkawa what the fuck did that mean

  • that's some expensive stuff

  • nice...from thailand

  • I don't give a "Flying Fart" what anyone says!!! It sounds quite nice, and that comes from someone who really doesn't care for the laid back sound OfMac, but this system surprisingly sounds quite good !!!

  • Wow 100 watts continuous into theB&W's,, must be LOUD with those 1000 watt peaks.

  • @meanleanfmachine 1200 watts

  • is this amp the predecessor of the MC 1.2K? cause, i can't find this one anywhere!

  • @BlueShirt7 what?

  • I'm a bit afraid to ask, but why is there a need of a pre-amp? I'm aware of its function in a guitar amp - it "forms" the tune, juicy or flat, lively or dead. But here, the tune is ready on the cd, ready to be pumped up, in the amps. Am I wrong? :)

  • I love how the camera vibrates at around 0:20. I wish i had enough money to pick up gear like this

  • Another great system. Although a different room and orientation would be frosting on the cake.

  • the best way to sell you stuff, with the magick of Chuck!! Great

  • Its no surprise in my mind that McIntosh sells so well, just look at those big baby blue meters, that black glass and the chromed dials! But they really do sound like JUNK...afterall. NOBODY uses output transformers after all- I wouldn't want an MC-1201 connected to my ESL-63s, the amp would likely go into shutdown! The American & British designers never mastered the ART in making good sounding amplifiers. And its quite hard to find a GOOD HAND to MAKE them on those communist chink pay rates.

  • @JoeRosenSmokin300B fuck your taste get the hell out of hear with your racist ass comments you dont like mcintosh fine listen to your cheap ass cerwin vegas you bought at best buy that allegedly dont sound boomy.lmao

  • @tingokuman That JoeRosen is a fuckin idiot. Unfortunately youtube is allowing those shit people growing here. You can upload the best setup there will be always a bastard bashing this or that brand etc... Anyway I can´t stand that anymore and shall escape from this fuckin place very soon.

  • @JoeRosenSmokin300B You're speakers must sound like junk.

  • I used to own some McInchink but there wasn't enough "tone" for my listening tastes. I prefer tubes as they are more accurate to the source-THE MUSIC. For me its the voluptuous midrange of the ESL-63s and large Cerwin Vegas. Some folks don't have the ear for it- its sad but they're just SOL! Sitting listening to their pricey Wilson Audio Watt/Puppys and 801Ds, oh LORD please end the torture NOW...it become unbearable! Those metal tweeters can be so harsh and that bass of so boomy!

  • @JoeRosenSmokin300B wilson watt pupies are fuckin awsome

  • My ears just had sex listening to how good this sounds. Ugh, I need baby wipes to clean the "residue" out! Incredible sound for not even being physically next to the stereo!

  • Made in China ?

  • It's alright, but I think Roksan is better. Sorry.

  • im a mcintosh buff, trying to wrangle a pair of xrt29 and a ma-7000 - god willing i can pry these away from some unwilling souls....

    Rocket625

  • Tube amp supporters need to hear this.

  • wow, that looks like a great system

  • nice done

  • I don't know...this sounds suspiciously like Dell computer speakers playing a fairly low-to-medium fidelity stream from youtube of something recorded through a camcorder mic. But I could be wrong about this.

  • Im sure it sounds great but the speakers are too close together and too close to the side walls, but B&W 801 and Mac mono blocs are awesome!

  • such a nice system

  • Mac was the top brand until marantz came along and showed them up. It might be different today, but in the 50's & 60's Marantz was far superior to Mcintosh.

  • I had a marantz 3800 preamp which I love

I drove it with a Crown 150, I fond out that Paul Mcartney used Crown. A great set up for me.

  • Yeah, you cant beat the golden era gear, most of todays amps just sound cold. It's probably just that times have changed so much. I prefer the old school. I saw a crown amp of pauls in a Wings vid years ago :)

  • @Ampaccessories Me too. I think Manley is one of the today branches that follows old school philosophy. I've posted a 'EL34 Manley Snapper Tube Amp' video and a 'voice' variation video if you're interested. You can listen the air passing through the trumpet on the first one. Your comments will be very appreciated.

  • @tallorder9 I didn't know Paul McCartney was an audiophile. I am sorry if I didn't understand you. I've never listened a Crown 150. Is it a hi-fi gear? By the way, do you know what hi-fi gear the ex-Beatles used to have in home? Tubes, SS?

  • How can anyone get an idea of what this system sounds like? Single camcorder mic cutting out both top and bottom end. and being only one mic gives absolutely no idea of sound staging. all you are hearing is a mono signal. Not only that the audio is compressed for youtube. Not to mention what most listeners will be hearing it through. A chain is only as strong as it's weakest link. I have no doubt it is an awesome system tho. I'm guessing that is not your usual speaker positioning either.

  • It may be time for your "30 dollar pc speakers" to be replaced, seeing as that is how you are hearing this in the first place!

  • @starsky10auctions

LOL I bet you just blew his mind

  • @starsky10auctions I just upgraded SIGNIFICANTLY!. The new PC speakers cost over 50 dollars! Your system sounds a bit better too, IMO. Let us both strive to achieve perfection!

  • @starsky10auctions B&W's?

    you clearly don't know.

  • @khunopie

    Is this guy for real?!?!

  • I think i need an attitude adjustment. time to think about moving out of my mom's house. LOL.

  • @khunopie Better get your ears checked then.

  • @khunopie How the fuck do you want them to sound good if they fuking registred on a camera... stupid

  • My previous post is a reply to markyb53 and it was posted here. I don't know what happened. By the way, this is a great system, of course. I am not a SS guy but I have to admit.

  • Bowers & Wilkins... ahhhhhhhhhh !!!! absolute bliss

  • One of the best brands of the world???

  • @kynigh I agree with you. "One of the..." but not the only one or the last word. Many people used to be mesmerized by magic world "McIntosh" or the blue eyes vision. I've been listening to old audiophiles with no money restrictions describing Mac sound as "cold" sometimes. It's a matter of taste of course.

  • I just came in my pants!

  • Awesome

  • Wow ... great sound ... even on Youtube!

  • Children of Sanchez (Overture) iTunes with Don Potter was one of the best songs that could ever to be played on that amp and speakers... the first 3 min will really show off the amp and speakers... the original song about 14 min crank that up with 2k watts and the XRT2K speakers NOW YOUR PLAYING MUSIC!

  • you master mind you

  • Did you sell your system after?

  • ...i don't think it gets better than this....

  • there's no such thing as the best system in the world. be sure there's better stuff, like Avantgarde Trio, Avalon Isis, Gryphon Poseidon, YG acoustics, etc. this also applies to the electronics and the cables.

  • obviously a Mc hater... ;)

  • I really don't think so. This is the best McIntosh video on YT, of course. However, there are better and worse amps outside. I like Macs and owned one set (MC275-C220). But I've changed my mind when found single-ended triodes. Mac only uses KT88. EL34 & EL84 are more musical to me. It's just a matter of taste. Some people like H.Davidson, some people like Kawasaki. Take a look at "EL34 Manley Snapper..." here on YT. It's different and very impressive too. Your comments will be appreciated.

  • Those B&W woofs move so much air the camera was shaking!

  • how much did you get for them?

  • god i wish i had one of these amps

  • Super MC1201.

  • AWESOME!!! Its not the diamond series is it?

  • i think it is the 801D!!! =)

  • OMG!! Any Audiophile would sell his soul to the devil to get his hands on these amps. Why are you selling them?

  • I still have my father's MA6100 that's close to 35 years old....My system is all Adcom now w/ B&W 703s....801s are too pricey for me....

  • Bum there goes the dynamite!!!! Thats what i call perfect systems!

  • Must be an incredible sound:}

  • o, yes!!! Suuuper!

  • iv got the same speakers and power amps , just new version 1201 i would never sell it ;)

  • Beautiful setup and great song. Are those B&W speakers?

  • You got it - B&W Nautilus 801 Speakers

  • why are you selling this stuff? It's so nice...
