Lets call it as it is folks .. Referring to islam as a religion of peace , is akin to burying your head in the sands of modern Political correctness . There is ONLY one islam , one muslim ... They show peace to your face while harbouring in their hearts a much different agenda . Read surrah 3 . Read the entire koran.. I have. Robert Spencer's book 'The Truth About Muhammad' was interesting to read.
However, Islamic texts do not necessarily reflect Islamic actions throughout history.
I do not contest the contents that speak for themselves, but I do have an issue with people who believe that Islam universally and throughout history acted in the way described by Islamic critics.
Any student of history will understand my point even if they dont agree.
