  • Great idea. I donated money immediately after watching the video. Now I don't have to feel guilty for only buying the pretty fruit.

  • I used to work at Wegmans in the produce dept. It was my job to seperate the ugly produce no one would buy from the pretty produce. If we wouldn't buy it ourselves, then we were to pull it. We pulled a lot of fruit/veges. I'm happy to report that what got pulled, got sent to the local food bank. Next time you are in your local grocery store, ask them what they do with the ugly produce and if the answer is anything other than that it goes to help the less fortunate, then don't shop there!

  • What a great way to promote such a good cause! Thanks!

  • Daikon!!

  • So that's why my kitchen is always a mess. My various food items wait untill I leave then they come on out and start socializing. They seem to be a rowdy bunch...I just wish they'd clean up after themselves.

  • Kaden (age 8) & I liked how instead of saying blah, blah, blah and talking the whole time you used fun veggie people to show your message!

  • So much good food goes to waste while people continue to eat (yet are malnurourished by)synthetic, GMO, packaged, preservative filled "so-called" food. This is a great program to not let good stuff go to waste!!!

  • Hahaha! Haas Avocado Productions rock!

  • I'm glad you got our little "inside joke"

  • This is fabulous! We "rescue" produce from the fields to feed the hungry in our area - will show it to all of our farmers!

I think the "Play with your Food" guys will be touched at this homage as well!

What's next? Vegetables striking against too much salt and grease??

  • I have a crush on violet

  • Awesome.

  • Excellent! You should send the link to every restaurants, supermarkets and hotels in the US!!

  • Fun and informative with a great message! Great idea put forth in an entertaining way!

  • This is such a cute video... the creators spent a lot of time making the fruits and veggies "speak" their message in a unique way.
