America has still lot to learn about rallying. 4 Days to Rally Finlands start. Best drivers of world gather to flowing stages of finland and national rallyes run same stages. Our rally is grand daddy of them all. Watch footage from Finland and see the speed difference. Shame there is no american drivers in starting list. American drivers would only crash and be shamed of their slow pace against big boys of rally racing.

we don't have a country with barely any people and loads of windy back roads to play on like you do Mr. Finland. I'll give it to you though, a lot of the best drivers in the world are from your country.

Very true. I happen to have 10km of my own roads to train on and every winter we make own ice tracks to nearby frozen lake. Ice driving is my forte. I strongly recommend it to every american who wants to learn car controll.

Usa once had chance to see wrc group b monsters in olympus rally 86. American rally legend John Buffum was left 20min from pace of finnish drivers Juha Kankkunen and mr maximum attack Markku Alen in midway of rally. Too bad there was no one to see that, everyone was too busy watching nascar.

These days few of the "cool kids" from extreme sports are transferring to Rally....Which is great , because young people have somebody to relate to , finally good cars are available in the US (EVO ,STI) and with years going by , more young people can afford them. X games are the best promoter of the sport in the this country right now , it's a slow process but the change is visible...Now Ford should launch a full assault on Rally America.

MotoX riders just arent rally drivers. Its good publicity for rally sport no doubt. Rally isnt really about cool cars and stunts, for me it has always been speed and flatout no matter what car. Best rally drivers from finland have said that you should train in rwd to understand awd and to fully be able use it. X games rally is not real rally, its only little spectator stage, real rallying happens in forrest stages. Check out legendary Ouninpohja SS footage to see real shit from finland.

i know... the stuff we both took is called the PA "Grand Canyon." It's a huge tourist attraction and the butterfly bushes are right next to the viewing spot. So apparently we both had the same idea.
