@hunkerjr People like dota/HoN because of the high skill factor. Games such as DotA, CS, and SC have very high skill caps. Which makes them entertaining to watch in competitive play. People like LoL because it's casual, low skill cap, and fun to play with friends.

Calling something like DotA retarded considering how complex it really is, is very ignorant. There is no way you could come close to understanding even a small part of it by watching a few videos.

I don't know anything at all about the Dota2 competitive scene, but it looked like NaVi was the far superior team. It felt like GGnet kept making the same mistakes over and over (Lich died to the same gank 3 times?)

Is NaVi vastly more experienced? Was GGnet having a bad game? Or do I just not know what I'm looking at? (Zero Dota 2 experience and very little Dota experience)

@BurtnerBros Na'Vi is definitely an experienced team, but all teams in this tourney are experienced. Lich dying to the same gank is not the same mistake, but just better team co-operation by Na'Vi. Well, Lich was in a bad position at the time too I have to admit. The person playing Razor was't so great, rushing in without waiting for his team and getting destroyed. Dota and Dota 2 has a very large team tactic, starting from hero selection. Good ward placement by Na'Vi too though.
