Im not elite and I've always known its hard but its always been fun until my last practice I just can't get my dismount off beam cause I dont go for it even though I know I could do it I feel like my coach doesnt believe in me cause he was showing me a different eaiser dismount to do instead but I want the one I've been working on I stayed after practice trying for my dismount over and over again My coach hugged me and told me I'd get it and I knew he believed in me but I still almost cried
@Oscarnodwannabe ok so i saw that you play softball. i do to. i play at a very high level but its all for my dad. i want to be a gymnast. what do you think i should do? please help me
@kylacusac You should be honest with your father. Life is too short to be living it for other people. Trust me. I am a straight A Honors/AP student but instead of becoming a doctor or lawyer like I have planned my whole life I have decided to risk it all to follow my dream to NY as a performer. Do what makes you happy. I told my dad and thought he would be upset, but he told me he believed in me and supports me.

I play softball but I wanted to be a gymnast so bad when I was young. I'm taking my first class Tuesday and I am super excited!
