A snuff film is a FILM that contains the death of an actor for the sake of the film, which afterwards is commercially distributed as a movie/porn. That's a big difference, otherwise snuff films would be a normal thing, considering all the news reports showing death. There may be snuff films on the black market though, but such a film was never discovered. We don't know if the real thing exists.
