From my perspective, I don't think he was trying to get a drink. I think he just lay there and saw the handle on the faucet and curiously decided to pull it without knowing what it was, and as soon as water started pouring out, it got confused, sniffed the water, and left because it didn't like that it got wet...

That's what I thought he did. Lol.

I've seen a cat who purposely drinks from the sink. They don't lay in it the first time; they stand next to the sink, and pull the handle and then they drink from the faucet.

This cat seemed to have just been filmed with the expectation that it was going to sleep in the sink, but then it just randomly pulled the handle. Lol.
