I used to be an average user. I didn't know the first thing about computers. If my computer was really slow I would bring it in to someone rather than thinking of what to do myself. By your definition I am a power user because I'm more familiar with how a computer works and if there is something I don't know I watch your videos, enter your chat, go to windowsbbs message board, watch PCWizKid and Tinkernut(Gigafide) videos on youtube. I wish I was a power user sooner.

ive used pcs since i was about 4 and i am now 16 so im certanly a power user! ive had windows 3.1 all the way to Vista which im runnin now. ive had 5 pcs from a 150mhz 64mb pentium 1 with win95 all the way to a intel celeron 3.06 ghz 512 mb ram! (so far!)
I wouldn't go with anything by AMD. I am a bit against AMD for some reason, I have abosolutely no reason to though, seeing my 900MHz Laptop (with and AMD Processor) and 512MB of RAM runs XP pretty well. Not as good as my 3GHz P4 machine with a a gig of RAM obviously.

The Mac " Power User" is called the " Root Administrator "
and the first problem with that is becoming the root administrator, you really have to know what your doing, or you will really mess up your comp...
