You are doing some really interesting work! You mentioned Tesla and lightning. My memory is fuzzy on this, but I thought Tesla claimed to be able to cause a lightning strike as a killing weapon. I'm not happy about that. Do you think a machine such as yours, perhaps on a bigger scale, could reduce lightning?

Wouldn't it be great if we could drain power from lightning to be used for good, taking away its destructive power? Peace.

Yes Tesla could create artificial lightning. He also discussed with the press his "death ray" invention. He wanted to END wars similar to how the nuclear scientists were thinking in those days. I think someone will eventually figure out how to tap into the power from the lower ionosphere.

@morpher44 Thank you for your reply. I bet some have already figured it out, but they are keeping quiet. Imagine how disruptive that would be if people could get free energy. Hey, that's in the title of your video... free energy! It would be hard for our leaders to control of us if we could all capture our own energy.

If Tesla said he could end wars by making more lethal weapons, he was mistaken. Nuclear bombs did not stop the wars. How many wars are being waged today?

We can capture our own free energy now with wind and solar. I wouldn't worry too much about leaders controlling us. It is an illusion...The universe has its own checks and balances. Tesla tech -- scalar weapons -- are one answer to the NUKE missile problem. Yeah wars are probably always going to happen as we evolve & devolve depending upon the path we take.

@morpher44 I'm using both wind and solar now. There are many ways to capture "free" energy. (As in "freedom".) But notice how many of our neighbors ignore the energy all around them and insist on using energy provided by their leaders? Yes, there's an illusion. Our leaders cannot force us to do evil. They can try to scare people into doing evil, like going along with war, but we can refuse because we have free will.

tesla didnot condone violent wepons his project was a emp machine sending a microwave wave into the air to knock down war plaines by the mases the crew members would not be hurt the plain would start to fall and the crew would simply jump off and parashut down to earth tesla was a peacfull man in a time of war.

@juanitoescarcha78985 Using your logic then, you would be OK with Tesla shooting an EMP at your car while you are driving in it, causing it to fail and crash, totaling it, and as long as you had your air bag you could say that Tesla was peaceful.

Here is an idea that Tesla should have pursued: Fight hate with love.

I would like to see coil hooked up to a spectrum analyzer looking at the frequency ranges that you specified in the last video. Then just ping it with various frequencies or DC and see what response is registered as it rings on the analyzer.  Perhaps a college might allow someone to use one.

Yes. I too have thought of that ... but don't have one. I can tell from the oscilloscope that there are several harmonic frequencies. I can see the patterns. One thing that occurred recently is that I've damaged my scope. The issue with high-voltage is that it can easily get into nearby equipment. My scope is now exhibiting intermittent problems staying on frequency. So measurement is a challenge. There is danger in wrecking expensive test equipment when playing with high voltage.

it is interesting results with the spark gap but not I'm entirely sure that is the direction that Bashar was intending. We need some RF engineer people to start working with it. It might be interesting to hook it up to a Software Controlled Radio such as the GNU Radio. This is a very interesting piece of equipment and can function as a spectrum analyzer as well I believe. We could explore it via software

Yeah I'm hoping these videos will encourage others to build this strange LARGE air coil and experiment with it. My expertise is very limited and I do what I can. There are folks with far more experience than with access to better equipment. Interesting idea using GNU radio. I think one question I would like answered is what the frequency response is. Are there multiple resonant points. Eric Dollard points out there can be 2 resonant peaks. I do in fact see that.

I recently read a paper that someone has created a negative inductance. I wonder if the same can be done with capacitance using a TRICK of geometry. Also, it occurred to me tonight that since there are two coils here hooked up in parallel, there resistances are HALVED. What a clever way to reduce resistance.

Regarding Bashar direction. He was vague and said only that we can play with this thing anyway we choose. Many have pointed out to me that this cone-coil design is similar to what Walter Russel came up with. The Bashar information appears to be a MIX of "human" inventions. The real strange bit are the comments about tachyons. Or did he mean "tacky" ions ... another thing I've read about recently on some website. Eric Dollard & Tesla believed that speed-of-light can be exceeded.

Btw, I wanted to see if the full-size coil would produce audio tones like the 9-inch one. With same experiment, it would not. However, I found that if I had the current flow from the coil surface to the 12x12 plate, the sound would emit on the plate and the same harmonics where there. The larger coil has heavy 14 gauge wire that cannot easily vibrate on the cone like the little coil. But the vibration can be made to occur on the plate held against it.

The sound on the smaller coil is caused by wires vibrating in the magnetic fields, hitting the paper cone surface. I believe we see harmonics because these vibrations are occurring at different frequencies up and down the cone -- which would lend credence to the theory that a frequency change is happening down the cone .. and that velocity is constant in the wire.

Try submerging your spark gap in vegetable oil to quench the spark as tesla did (typically using magnets or a blast of hot air) this will ensure a uni-directional discharge. Also the spark gap can be used in parallel to the coil, look up shorting a coil at sinewave peaks. I can send you more info if you need.

Thanks for the tip. I can remove the spark gap completely. Doing so has the effect of reducing the voltage level out to the can-pin antenna, and the light dims a bit. So the spark gap does boost the voltage levels a bit since a SNAP occurs to the coil. Quenching would probably improve that snap definitely. Spark gaps are ancient tech now and not recognize by guys like me educated in digital electronics only. I have more research to do.

yes by all means, send me any info you have on ways to connect up spark gaps. I have seen them in circuits across capacitors ...
