on the level the covenant pick the checkpoint with the hornets

trade your gun with the pilot's pistol...now shoot his chest plate (armor)

you'll knotice that it doesnt even effect him AT ALL :-O

Tilt skull makes vehicles indestructible and makes some enemies immune to plasma rounds, and others to bullets. i cant remember which enemies for which though =S

Thunderstorm skull, All enemies go up a rank, In other words all enemies are alot stronger. Thunderstorm skull on legendary is next to impossible.
