Can i ask what's the trash can on the front of the boat for? And, why such a high platform? Wouldn't the regular deck work? I'm just a curious kayak fisherman that wonders about equipment I see.
@johnandmyra1997 - The reason for a higher platform is to spot fish easier, the more elevated you are, the farther you can see, and the farther you can see a fish, the better the chances of not spooking it. The "trash can" is called a stripping bucket. On a windy day, fly line gets blown all over the place causing tangles while casting, with the bucket, you strip line in there to prevent all that to happen.
Keeps me Stoked while I'm in the oil fields... can't wait to be on my home flats!!!
