@drh1111 yeah but if you notice most of the people who use them get stuck much easier. And it all depends on how much you are willing to spend on an off roading tire.
So the only reason the trucks r fuck off huge is to fit the fuck off huge tyres in this fuck off small trucks but serve no 4wd purposes due to the diffs being 2 foot off the ground? Is that a fair comment?
@fishunter11 very good comment and question. haha technically the advantage is the tires, but it eliminates the need for a snorkel when you engine is 10 feet off the ground.
So if you bought a truck, extended the axles out past the body, and lifted it only a little, then added a snorkel you might achieve the same thing.
All of you are right just add all them togethor Look at BIG MOTOR on here its High Horse Power Lots of Torque & low gears Also look at RC Construction truck They are over 1000 HP
those tires on all the big trucks shown are 44" to 50" at largest. It would be too hard to turn any tires bigger then that at that rate of speed with that fast of acceleration. My Uncle had a 2004 dodge ram 1500 on 44' super swampers and it was badass like that jeep but with getting laid off there went his big truck.
have you ever considered these guys have built there motors up. i agree. there not any bigger then 50. but you could turn a big tire. just need the motor to do it.
i know they have built there motors up ive been at the trucksGoneWild events and most guys have 44"s to 50"s why I said that, and a motor to turn a tire over 50" is insanely hard to do but yes it is possible, just not at that rate of speed in that mud like I said
You guys have no idea what you are saying. It is always good to have a big motor but what really counts is the gears. You can throw some low gears (numerically high) in those axles and a small 4 cyl. toyota can spin some 44's without a problem.
its not insainly hard to build up a good motor. good motor+the right gearing. itll turn them no problem at all. a 454 with a bit of bolt-ons will turn them no problem as long as it has the right gearing.
here is the big silver dodge, way bigger than 44-50". look at the guy walking by it. its all about gears like said before. a 4cyl can spin these tires in the mud with 5 ton axles and dual t-cases
haha and why is that? do you think all of the trucks running 44"+ tires have high horsepower V8's? naaa, i think not. stock 4cyl Toyotas on 2 1/2's can spin 50"+ tractor tires... seen it in person. and if you say different, ill find the video. so shut your dick catcher, dumb ass
I agree, practically anything can spin everything with the right gearing, but do you see a 22r haulin ass with tractor tires? NO. Its slow as fuck and whats so exciting about having a yota that cant even do 55mph with that kinda gearing? If you actually saw somone pullin through THAT in a yota it must of been boring as fuck watching it just bob through the water
People worrying about the supply of gasoline...and america is burning it away for fun...this is why no on like america...but fuck all the haters, Right?
