This made me cry, but in a wonderful way. I am 16 years old and I have been struggling with dysthymia and major depressive disorder, "double depression", for many years. I feel I'm getting better, but I still fight suicide everyday, and this is nothing compared to what it used to be. But this is so incredibly encouraging and amazing, makes you so greatful and makes you realize you can find that true happiness if you truely work for it.. it's a lifestyle, a thought process. I was never taught religion and for a few years I've been saying that I'm atheist because I've never really grasped the concept of God. My friend, no scratch that. My BESTfriend, was pushed beyond his limits, everything went wrong for him. He felt hopeless and lost, he shot himself in the spot we met up at every day and just talked for hours. He was such a positive person, but he was hurting. Kandee about two years ago I was feeling so depressed and I was over weight. It was the lowest time in my life. Nothing good was happening for me. I was living in so much pain from my past. I could not let go. Then one day I was searching for I don't know on Youtube and there I met a super happy positive shiny girl. She was so happy. So positive. I watched her story and I thought how can she be so shiny? I want that too. That was you Kandee. Sinds then I prayed so much. I lost 52.91 lbs.

I look up to you so much. For a long time I was very depressed because I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life, I was going to college for something I didn't like and would cry every night because I knew I wasn't happy where I was. But then a week before I was going to go back to school I had this realization that I want to become a make up artist and make people feel beautiful. this is great and all. but ...do you really still care about someone just as much if they dont believe in god? I dont believe i've ever met someone who honestly didnt care. Like in the back of their mind they just think "well maybe if you believed in god then your life wouldnt be so shitty" or "maybe if you prayed, you might get some help". I decided that I had enough of being sad everyday so I went to seek help. I went to a group meeting where a lady teach's us to understand our emotions and learn how to deal with them. I really feel like this is going to help. It's comforting to see others that are struggling just like you and see that there is hope! Seeking help is not a sign of weakness, you need courage to accept that you need help and go for it!!

Kandee about two years ago I was feeling so depressed and I was over weight. It was the lowest time in my life. Nothing good was happening for me. I was living in so much pain from my past. I could not let go. Then one day I was searching for I don't know on Youtube and there I met a super happy positive shiny girl. She was so happy. So positive. I watched her story and I thought how can she be so shiny? I want that too. That was you Kandee. Sinds then I prayed so much. I lost 52.91 lbs.

I look up to you so much. For a long time I was very depressed because I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life, I was going to college for something I didn't like and would cry every night because I knew I wasn't happy where I was. But then a week before I was going to go back to school I had this realization that I want to become a make up artist and make people feel beautiful. I believe hearing your story and your videos really helped steer me in this direction. I'm so happy now.
