  • That's right, laugh at Asimo, post pictures of him failing online. Asimo knows humans are weak, they are easy to exterminate and the time draws nigh.

  • Asimo is pure ass IMO...

  • I expected the mistake to be that the robot turned evil and suddenly got out machine guns and shot everybody as for the cameraman too got shot and dropped his camera. :(

  • oh i see, he was supposed to hit the pin? BAH... I'm surprised they got him to kick a ball at all, he's got no control over other objects (the ball)... if he did,he'd make a fortune playing pool!!!

  • where's the mistake?

  • @digitalmckracken he didn't hit the ball. many ppl are jackasses and think that since Japanese created robots that now asimo should be oh so effin smart and perfect so this is a "mistake" it's not the robot's fault that he can't hit a ball not many real life people can't either. anyway this jackass thought this was a "mistake"

  • @kimikuro89 oh i see, i mean... he kicks it... i thought they wanted him to knock over that pin he was aiming for... somebody should build a robot that can play solid hockey LOL!

Thanks for answering my question too!! :)

  • do'h!

  • Achimooooooooooooo!

  • If that is in 2007 I just imagine how agile will be robots by 2050, can move as quick as in the movie I robot. We will not chance, robots will become in super heroes and villains saving people of traffic accidents and killing it in wars.

  • @AZURA888 Not only basic movement/stair fall recovery ..it needs dexterity too.. also image recognition .. and after that ..decision ability. My timeline (in normal economy):

    1) Movement -year 2040

    2) Dexterity -2055 [that means hands will have the same dexterity as a 5 five finger human hands]

    3) Image recognition -2080 [ability to look at a scene and identify most of the objects]

    4) Decisioning -2100

So, in 2100 you will be able to tell the robot to fetch a beer from the fridge ..thats it.

  • @dubtafoo You forgot about how rapidly technology advances. It isnt a + its a multiplication

  • thats still very impressive

  • What do you mean with "mistake"? That was a solid shot, between the posts into the low corner! ASIMO 1 x 0!

  • Aww Poor Asimo they need to reconfigure him

  • ASIMO will remember this video when robots rules the world

  • FUCK ROBOTS...

  • @borna567 fuck u i love technology

  • that's funny, ACHOOO!!!!!

  • Hell I couldn't even do that and they're expecting a robot too psh

  • achooooo!

  • eh, its a human mistake, not a robot mistake cause the human still controls it

  • @juki0h The ASIMO robots are not directly controlled by humans.

  • @Nekhet yes it is, otherwise asimo wouldnt have made that mistake

  • @juki0h No, not always. It can be remote controlled but it can also be ordered by voice commands.

And when ASIMO needs to judge things such as distance to a certain object (moving or not), analyze new objects etc. it do it automatically. Otherwise the programmers should always voice commands such as: "Take one step forward. Now go right." etc.

  • Achoooo!

  • Better than some football teams

  • I swear there is a little person inside of there....

  • well hes better than manchester united by a long shot

  • @ottotech13

    JIJIJIJIIJIJIJIJIJIJIJIJIJIJIJIJI

  • Asimo can make better judgment then humans it was having a bad day

  • Asimo wants to play in the EPL, I have faith in you Asimo!

  • ASIMO did everything right. The people who set it up did not.

  • probably an inconsistency in the ball's rubber shell. if the ball were made by a superior robot being, he would have hit the pin.

  • wtf i dont understand :'(

  • hahahaaaa.. funny girl

  • haha what a bitch

  • what an awful toe punt. put your laces through it lad!

  • Soon the "mistake" videos of this robot will be the ones where it kills everything in the room.

  • @krakers20 And it will look so cute doing it too!

  • @krakers20 Haha ask Asimo to divide by 0, then we'll see who wins

  • @krakers20 Imagine the views it will get on Youtube! I'd watch it

  • oh shit! there already starting to rebel!

  • BOTTOM RIGHT CORNERRRR GOAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

  • @pizzafile left

  • int(angle)

    :(

  • @S0harix Yes, take out the typecast and it would work.

  • Comment removed

  • EPIC FAIL :D

  • Lol that was kind of cute xD

  • Its not a programing error. This happened due to wrong mechanical design of its foot..

  • @SuperSachin I think it was bad calculation:P

  • Meh... Honda was so precise about him they even programed the possibility to make human mistakes :P

  • he only missed by a few inches give him a break people!!

  • They need to program him to wipe some ass since Japan has very few young people and these guys will be caring for their aging population.

  • nope he didnt mean to hit the pin he was told to but hes getting sick of all these commands so he aimed for the human THERE TAKING OVER RUN

  • @gravediger1 lol

  • They make mistakes.....good so when they take over we might have a chance

  • They are able to make mistakes too....!!! now I'm pretty sure they will rule us one day

  • corse he made a mistake hes only hu.... wait!

  • hahahaha you bitch

  • Toe punt.

  • well duh its gonna make a mistake the human made it. Humans naturally make mistakes. so what we create also make mistakes. You were made by humans, and you make mistakes. robots are made from humans they make mistakes.

  • ASIMO -- "damn humans making a fool out of me i have better things to do"

  • Bottle 1 Asimo 0

  • i love the sound it makes...aahoooo

  • One important thing.

It's not the robot's fault... The human just programmed him wrong!

A well programmed robot can't make a mistake.

  • @dhcmocrolife Depends how it's programmed. If it's brain is designed by human, you're right. If the human built a model of the brain, it is the trainings fault and/or the size of the brain. Robots can, and always will, make mistakes. To avoid mistakes, it would have to know everything, and I mean everything; the whole universe. It cannot. It must guess. And guesses are at best right most of the time, but never, ever, always. It's simple probability.

  • @dhcmocrolife No robot will ever make a mistake, its because they're programed by people who do.

  • @freedfighter96, even so something like this he may not get it 100% all the time

  • I bet he saw that other bottle too and he was thinking "LETS MAKE A GOAL !!!"

  • You cant expect much from Honda.

  • @gburkett05 haha i was thinking the same thing

  • If robots take all the jobs,do they need to get paid? what will humans do?

  • hmmm..let robots work...people get paid for being alive..and pray that the robots don't rebel and kill us all..Like in the movies..Matrix for example

  • @ackbob I'd rather robots go in the direction of the movie "A.I", great movie.

  • I love its 'happy' voice as it kicks the ball... lol, reminds me of lucky star

  • What mistake? He was just playing football, he did make a goal !

  • Much better accuracy than that of the England team.

  • ok guys asimo is a learning robot with every mistake it learns to it will be able to eventually hit the bottle and mabey play champion soccer if he gets fast enough :P

  • You scared me! ASIMO and any other robot or human can fail on this. Nobody is perfect.

  • @AriasBacan

Yes but the robot should be able to target it and never miss. Missing it just makes it more human.

  • @Zanmatt2g Yeah... I guess so...

  • ASIMO fail.

  • Have u made something better maybe?

  • @riflleman i made pancakes!

  • An innovative company created this robot, not a country. You think in terms of stereotypes. Talented Scientists and Engineers all over the world have contributed greatly to innovative robotics and programming.

This us them thinking is part of the problem. Many here in US also disagree with the foreign entanglements and counterproductive foreign policy that continues despite all the broken promises Obama made. He talks and complains a lot but hasn't done much to actually change foreign policy

  • Robotic technology for balancing and human motion can have many applications. First flight was inspired by birds. A human wearing a robotic suit could perform tasks without tiring with incredible strength. So far we've only really seen such applications in movies because the technology simply isn't there to do it yet. We are much further ahead in terms of programming rote tasks, but in terms of AI and motion/balance/feedback and deductive/inductive logic from sight/senses etc. is just starting

  • The Japanese make a robot that can kick a soccer ball. The USA makes robots that can kill people with guns and missiles.

  • and who manufactured our robots? FORD that's right people, Honda or Toyota aint the best. : ) jk

  • @StarscreamLord , You know, I'm an American, and if I choose which one I like better out of a robot kicking a soccer ball, and a robot that kills people, I choose the fuckin' soccer ball. If you had actually seen someone killed before, and you had anything resembling a soul, you would probably agree.

  • jeez how much are they i need one to make my bed and feed my guinea pig and to do my laundry xD

  • that mistake can be the because the inclination of the floor

  • Muaz muaz! u are so cute!

  • HOw long do you guys think it will be before humans start playing against all-robot soccer teams?

  • The Japanese are such perfectionists that I could imagine them obsessing on the mistakes but that is part of the reason they are so far ahead of the US in robotic technology, I am envious.

  • Oh please. America has ED-209 and Robocop.

  • @Dmasterman You watch to much TV. lol

    Our robots are all killers.

  • Robocop is a defender.

    Who has 3 prime directives.

    Serve the Public Trust

    Protect the innocent

    Uphold the law

  • Everyone makes mistake... he's a robot come on I'd probably miss it

  • Goal!

    What mistake?

  • it was supossed to hit the bouling pin

  • Well, to err is human.

    Oh shit.

  • japan dont play soccer less a robot XD

  • i <3 asimo x x x

  • Well in ASIMO place i would miss 2 (I lame in soccer xD)

  • give him a bit of praise i mean atleast he kicked it, am i the only one who understands the value of robots , hes a robot FFS

  • hey i would have probably missed it

  • he doesnt have to be lucky all the time then its not fun to play basket ball or bowling with him

  • that's too diffucult XD

    &&LOL

  • well we wouldnt want a robot dropping a nuclear warhead now would we?

  • GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL GOAL GOAL GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL

i want to face him 1 on 1 XD

  • who said were going to do that?

  • by making mistakes makes it more like us :S lol

  • I would have missed that too haha...

  • I dont understand how he failed. Cracking finish into the bottom corner, keeper stood no chance. The england national side could do with signing him up!

  • LMAO! xD

  • dont forget ppl made it, so in the end people made the mistake.. so we fail.

  • you're 100% right

  • its a robot calm down ppl, its gona make mistakes.....

  • he got it closer than I would of probably been

  • Isn't he trying to get a soccer goal? Between the bottles? If so, he didn't make a mistake...?

  • It was an own goal!

  • i dont know what the mistake was, but the robot's speech was funny

  • Listen carefully.... The reason he missed is because he sneezed.

  • haha aww

  • if it is trying ti replicate human behavior that means that that robot is very human :)

  • I bet he was suppose to hit the bottle, he didnt. That was so.. human

  • @peronkop dude that is human we make mistakes all the time this just shows that robots can make mistakes to

  • Thats what Im saying. This robot has become so advanced that it make mistakes like humans.

  • FAIL.

  • Stating it's a fail makes it not a fail.

  • wat mistake

  • that is ment to happen, i saw him do that at a show

  • what was the mistake?...or am i missing the point here

  • nice. one day they will be in every mcdonald's taking our order.

  • ..then what is my dad going to do for a living?

  • Haha.

    Nice one dude.

Love the little tone of desperation.

  • @airrunweskerII sit on the Couch and Watching Bear Camorshiol

  • @airrunweskerII Make sure robots don't miss the bottle maybe? xD (Yes that could be a job!)

  • A few short of a T-1000!

  • Are you making a Terminator 2 reference

  • ...perhaps!

However, when ever I play GO against my computer... if the computer is lsoing, it "makes up" new additional rules that allow it to win...

including, but not limited to, "10 second rule", in which if I don' t move a piece in 10 secconds, the comupter gets an extra turn!

  • what are you trying to say with that

  • lol

  • yes, that is because a T-1000 is non-existent. =]

  • T-1000 R they Terminators?

  • anyway better than me on soccer.

  • If you think there's a chance of these things magically becoming self-aware, then you must not understand much about them. The best they can do is LOOK like they know what they're doing. They have no clue what is going on. Self-awareness is not a reasonable goal for now, or even fifty years from now.

  • Sorry. I was in a bad mood and forgot about time and how long it takes for a break through. I have studied our past and our progress and now have a prediction what will happen in the next century.

  • If you are relating self-awareness to learning, then that technology is here. Research Neurocomputing. If you are talking about it having a conscience (or at least what we would perceive as a conscience) then you are probably right.

  • giving futuristic blowjobs

  • rofl!!!!!!

  • Not a big deal, just the programing a little over calculated..

  • Too bad he didn't step and fall on the ball. Then he would be more human. Well, more like humans now days.

  • lol you make such a big deal because it missed it

  • it taked a lot of work to make a robot moving like that.. and someone still belive that life have casually apared..

  • he phails

  • they glued the pins to the ground... ha

  • What a loser

  • jizz monkey

  • tht not a mistake its canny hard to knock pins down lol
