It is referenced at one point in Resolute which was pretty cool.

Everyone needs to watch this, if you liked the TV GI Joe this is really faithful to the original, in style and feel, but it is into the "Adult Swim" territory, easily.

Hahaha all good, but you should know something if you have never read the comic or watched the show before. Snake Eyes is a mute, he will never talk so if you were expecting him to share his backstory with you, that isn't going to happen. Keep an open mind for the other characters, because they will mostly all have something about them that will keep you interested to want to see them again. And there are soooo many Joe's that you'll always have a character that perks your interest.

Oh no, i know he is a mute. The only thing i ever knew was cobra is the main villain snake eyes and storm shadow hate each other and snake eyes is a mute. I start reading snake eyes declassified shortly after the super bowl trailer becuase i wanted to see him with out his mask. Then i read G.I joe real American hero V2. Then master and apprentice.

I even watched two episodes of the old 80's show and found it crappy. Unlike the Transformers 80's show... I research movies i want to see.

I also enjoy transformer G.i.joe cross over comic drawn by Jae Lee. It takes place in WWII like era and the character got a Vintage makeover. The cobra soldiers looked like the nazis. The comic was just as brutal like this new cartoon. I hope they make the wwII version toys as well.

I've got a few issues of that. The artwork was really dark and intense, and the story was way out there! The Cobra soldiers and Major Blood were all stylized after Nazis and the Joes pretty much just looked like regular American soldiers, but you could tell who they were. Plus the TF's were WWII vehicles. One decepticon was a Panzer. Still, I really couldn't follow it. Didn't Storm Shadow get eaten by a shark or something?!

The comic was a little hard to follow, but the premise of the story was still great. Storm shadow and Snake Eyes fell into the ocean and basically the shark helped Snake Eyes double team on him:o I really like how Snake eyes was stylized though. Thanks for your commit.

umm... Sigma 6 was a real anime, it was animated by Studio Gonzo a real Japanese company and the Japanese had most of the creative control directing and storyboarding the show. This is written by a UK writer (Warren Ellis) and animated by an American stuido (Studio Titmouse), being more mature doesn't make it more "Anime" anime just means animation that comes from Japan (actually to the Japanese it just means animation period)
