Great job! I've been watching some of these videos now, and yours is the same one i'm starting with (dollar bin at Michaels) and Im wondering how to cut the paper to fit EXACTLY around the scalloped edges? Any tip or info would be greatly appreciated!

I also have this one from Michaels. I'm going to use the chipboard itself and trace the shape with a pencil around my paper. Then cut by hand. It worked with a Michael's ice cream cone shape. I'm a Newbie at all of this.

Great job on your first mini!!! They are very addictive, so welcome to the world of mini album creation!!! I rarely do 12x12 scrapbooking anymore because I can get mini's done in a much shorter span of time...much more rewarding for me!

Yep, it's actually called the dollar spot. Mine is located on the other side of the store (not with the scrapbook stuff) They have toys, household items and crafts stuff. You'll have to check out your store and see if they have it.
