777 gives full read/write/view permissions to everyone. It might not be the safest thing, but unless you are target for hacking, I think you will be ok, but it will insure that it does not give any errors.

That is the thing. I am so new to this I dont even know what a 000 webhost is. I just want to change my WP blog to a different one. But after I open the zip file, I have to click where it says WP-Content on my FTP and I don't have anything that says WP-content there. I need to figure out how to get it on there. Thanks for any help.

is your blog hostedby a company (like you signed up for blogger or tumblr or blogspot or something?) if that's the case, then you can't customize it much. What you have to do is sign up for a web host.
