She's beautiful and the only perfect Anne Shirley. But I've met this human being (follows) and she's not the nicest person you'd want to know. Standoffish and arrogant. Of course, most famous people are like this and i think it's just part of being famous.
Megan is indeed very striking. She is the only person that will ever play Anne, that I'll respect. The guy is creepy looking. I can't ever watch this video without thinking that the guy interviewing her looks like a deep sea fish. You know the ones, with weird heads, and the big eyes.
i loved anne of green gables as a kid... so much! and emily of new moon. too bad the show emily of new moon wasn't as classic as anne of green gables....

@TheJmann34 I understand. I've been in love "from afar" on other occasions with different women, and my crush on Megan probably lasted a good five years.
I think the lesson to be learned is that no woman, no matter how special, is the "only" woman in the world. There are plenty of amazing women out there, so we just have to try to focus on the ones that are actually attainable for us.
Screen magic. I can't imagine anyone trying to create such a feeling, a true book coming to life in front of you...such movies are the best in my opinion.
All 3 Anne of Green Gables movies were excellent.. the first 2 are the best, but sliceofmilk's comment is the same as mine.. the 3rd was still a very entertaining movie.. awful is hardly the word to use at all.. I love um all ! But despise the one called "Anne of Green Gables: A New Beginning" !
@Beatles64 I agree with u.The first two were very good, not just because they stayed true to the book but also good acting, esp by megan follows obviously. But I don't know about the third one. I thought it was okay but to be honest I don't think there was a need for sullivan to make a third movie. Obviously I can understand why he would change the story because Lucy Maud's book: "Anne's House of Dreams" (when anne and gilbert married) was kind of boring but the first two were the best:)
Oh gosh....how can I separate the two? Megan = Anne and vice versa. And whenever I reread Anne's books, I cannot get her image out of mind! Seems to me that she's the real, living, breathing Anne Shirley!
