I know a guy at the time that had a Lambo and in his garage he said 'i own a vette which would blow the doors of this in reality.Very nice guy.

That ZR1 is drop dead gorgeous, and has an amazing muscular stance! Best part is, it backs every bit of it up! Kudos~

ill let someone baby it and take of that sticker price and then ill get one...im seriously considering just turboing or superchargind a c6 z06 addin rims and woopin its ass in price and power. they look almost the same anyways...thats just my opinion...i guess the collector types will disagree

well it will be more involved then just slapping on any forced induction system. it will cost about the same maybe a little less, and half as reliable.

i disagree. people have supercharged zo6's and turbod them for a while...true 100,000 mile warranty is much better than 3 years or 36,000 but slapping on an induction system on a z06 will rape any zr1 accept maybe like a lingenfelter...and it costs less...you can get a c6 zo6 for 45-55k used thats nice...spend 15,000 supercharging,header exhausting, and dynoing that puts you at way less than a new zr1.

well your not putting in the situation that things are going to break on a motor that isn't ment to be charged. and that will void the warrant. it will just be a nightmare. trust me i've ownd a turbocharged car. it's always nice to have a warranty

@TheGrapest ...yeah ive heard the block comes apart...but yeah warranty is nice..but with the money youve saved you could prob afford some repairs....im thinking about just supercharging the ls3 now...since there running 11.7's stock...AA si trim vortech with 1 7/8 and B&B exhaust....i think that motors craving one...

The thing about the Z06 Vs. ZR1 is that you get the whole package.

MUCH better brakes, Better supesion, better aerodynamics, twin clutch short ratio trans, Plus leather

Not to mentionif you add headers,full exhaust and a samler supercharger pully and a tune you can easily get 700+ at the crank and 650-670 at the wheels vs 560-577 at the wheels.

There was a reason GM didn't use LS7 block in the zr1.... It' don't like boost ;)

@MarcsMobileAudio true, but i wouldnt really consider that a big issue for a vette when the other things he said were brakes, suspension, aerodynamics. It wouldnt keep me from buying the ZR1 if it didnt have a leather dash. You buy it for the best bang for the buck in the world. GTR is a good argument, but straight line the ZR1 destroys the GTR.

I love vettes but like you first born son, a car you build from the ground up is just more loved....

He almost got a Lambo, but went with the ZR1. He's worth millions after selling his company. Doubt I'll ever see that kind of cash.

@vegmatic1966 lambo doesnt compare to the ZR1 he made a excellent choice,i would of got the Z06 with some nice bolt ons and call it a day
