2000 ford ranger aux test

So you do have to have a cd in the unit and have a silent song burned on the cd for this to work right?

If you just switch it to CD with no blank song it would not play anything right?

@NewShockerGuy Yes you do have to have a "silent" cd for this to work otherwise the radio will not receive through the cd input.

Honestly I never tried just switching to the cd but i do not believe it will work

When you did this mod I noticed that I didn't see wiring...

Did you get a mono female plug and just solder the left audio to the tip, right audio to the ring and then ground to the sleeve?

I ask because I am going to buy the part and just wanted to wire it correctly.
