Has anybody ever heard the phrase "I'm not a bigot but..." without it being followed by a totally bigoted statement? If a white guy had made the same sort of statement about Blacks or Hispanics he would have been gone from virtually any show.
totalbliss1 Being Black on a plane then would not have been a decent reason to be nervous but some would have been. Yet Islam is differant, it is a faith of a prophet that marryed a 6 year old girl and who espoused beating your wife and the killing of infidels. Excuse me if I don't choose to respect it as font of temperant behavior or teaching.
I have question for the civil rights supporting Juan Williams..
How do you think white people or perhaps, "the vast majority of Americans" think of his people if they were dressed in standard street apparell get in a plane and sit next to them?? How do think they would've felt in the sixties??
I'm guessing they would have felt something like "Oh, great. Now we have to ride with one of them to wherever we're going" in typical racist fashion. However, I seriously doubt any one of them would've gotten nervous about it. The thing to keep in mind is that being black/white/hispanic/asian is not about choice. Being muslim IS a choice someone makes and follows through on.
@totalbliss1 Your comment exemplifies the NPR like myopia that liberals have brought to this discussion. The fact of the matter is that I, a racially tolerant American, am slightly nervous when I see someone in traditonal muslim attire in an airport. In addition, a group of blacks did not kill 3,000 Americans. A black terrorist did not declare a war on America in a court testimony. Also, the last time I checked, Muslims have never been enslaved in this country. It's apples and oranges.
Just because he made a book about civil rights for black people doesn't mean he can't be racist against some other types of people. There are radical Christians. The IRA has killed other people because of there religion and will kill other Christians because they aren't the same kind of Christian. When England or Ireland has had Schools , homes , and businesses blown up killing innocent people there wasn't an out cry over Christianity. In the name of Christianity there has been more deaths.
why are we arguing in our own countries for rights for people who imigrated to our nations to take them over...in Canada we have a saying" IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT HERE GO HOME" this is not racist it is a free country and a two way trip why should I have to acomodate everyone on the planets believes and then pay for it with my taxes...good grief as if it is wrong to protect your country!
The leftist hypocracy is unbelieveable.Fuck bahar, and goldberg. If this would of been juan being fired from FOX the leftwing media would of been screaming racism!!!Fuck CAIR!If it was white christian males doing all this terrorist shit the leftsit media wouldnt see anything wrong with profiling. That fat pig rosie odonell had the guts to compare christianity to radical islam as a big of a threat today in america as radical islam is.The media didnt call her on that bullshit.Jaun was fired for truth
most apes on tv have serious racial inferiority complexes "first black (WRONG!) president!" but this juan guy has it most severely. It's really racial inferiority complexish and disingenuous to defend a president on the basis of the myth that he's "100% black". What's worse, is that this president is indisputably as bad as carter IF NOT WORSE than him. I don't have enough space to list every example, but let me just say that with this khaddafi thing, he exhibited failed leadership like bp
This nigger is stupid. I just saw him on fox"news"
You know what I just realized? I had a somewhat debate with someone about fox"news" I was actually defending them *palm on forehead*. Anyway, when I brought up the fact that they bring on liberals to pseudo-balance things, the person said something like: "yeah they bring over even more stupid people or pushovers like juan and alan (respectively)"
this ape juan SHOULD have been fired eventually, but I gotta admit this npr thing was fucked up
What? Dont knw what its like to be minority? Hebrew is the majority of the targeted in EVRYBODY"S news globally. From the jihads crusade the Nrth Atlantic slave trade, and the Arab Islamic slave trade 90million plus murdered & traded abt 120mil. Not this made up race '"Jew" which isnt a Hebrew wrd nor greek. Hebrews ar African & black descendnts in Brazil & Asia. How cld brwn skin ppl not knw how it is to be minority. Islam has destroyed Africa mre than Europe evr could.Ths fact not sterotype
Another thing you ungrateful goat fucker if it was not for Africans giving refugee to the prosecuted Moslem of mecca. Islam would have ended right there.
Black zionist? a pretty powerful tool for for the powers at be. Hopefully not a trend tho. Fking fox pigs trying to exterminate the last of the non-zionist controlled medias
THE GOAL OF ISLAM IS TO ULTIMATELY FORCE EVERYONE TO BE MUSLIM. Islam mean submission. IF you are not muslim MOhammed ordered to burn your flesh keep you in fear so they will knw the moon god is greater than Yahweh. TOrment the Christian & Jews and any friend to them. Do not be their friend. Look up infidel. DOnt be ignorant of the East quick to welcome good speech and nice suit havent USA learned anythng? IF you dont convert you are enslaved they are doing this thruout the religion globally
You fucken Christian scrub - you were the first religion on earth to call other people infidels. Unlike Xtianity, Islam spread by peace not by the sword. Even the Quran NEVER mentions the word sword, unlike your terrorist-incited-Crusader-sword wielding hullabaloo called the Bible.
Leave the Jews out of this you cop-outing coward. Our beef is with you monkey pedophiles. Christians should learn more about their idol-infested Church rather than attack our religion. GOD IS GREAT!!!!
What's Bush's religion? When you find out what it is, then I'll already have rested my case :) By the way, the Saudis that supposedly "hijacked" the planes are still alive and well in Saudi Arabia - but why do I get the feeling you didn't know that? LOL Stupid Americans will never know the sins of their warlords.
@YemeniteChanter lol islam destroyed the culture of most african nations, and you think it was by peace? what about the arab/islamic slave trade? was that peace? As far as I am know islam is nothing but arab elitism. Now on that tip you cannot cry about equility when in your yemen nation christains suffer under the yoke of islam. Or that black yemens who have been there as long as you suffer under arab racism. You have it good here bro relax. and ps i am not christain they are just as worse as u
You're an idiot. There was not Islamic slave trade. Never was. The slave trade was perpetuated by u niggers. U sold each other out. U invaded each tribe. And whatever tribe won the war, would enslave the other tribe. Don't blame the Whites or Arabs for the sins of ur forefathers. Another thing, there are no Christians in Yemen, so what the hell are you talking about? LOL Someone needs to check his sources again. LOL Last but not least, ur a nigger, ur purpose is to serve us.
@YemeniteChanter if Africans enslaved each other, then why are there black people in Iraq and other Arabian nations who trace there ancestors to over 400 years. You dumb fuck there are Eritrean and ethiopian Christians refuges mainly women, who are abused into praying on Friday and tortured raped if they don't comply. also you need check your source, under the Ethiopia empire Yemen was a slave to them for over a hundred years. You are just a sand dweller kid. Islam is your only claim to fame
@youngcatlaflare Black" was created by WIlliam Lynch & so was the wrd "African" th real name is Hebrew. The most hated race by arab & european (gentiles) NOT JEW. Jew is not biblical Hebrew race. Descendants of Shem & Hem meaning dark & burnt skin the 2 of 3 sons of Noah. Japeth is father of gentiles Europe russian arabia brittish isles. THe covenant islam is basd on WAS ONLY AVAILABLE TO HEBREWS. B4 Islam the now islamic lands (not by spirit by sword) wer worshipping the MOON goddes & stars.
@Getushelp we are not Hebrews. Hebrew come from the seed of abraham, Abraham never existed he is a mythical patriarch figure of the people of Israel. We are what we have always been people of the motjetland only holy land which under today name is called Africa/afrika.
I've personally been to Yemen. So I think I have a better shot at seeing and knowing all this on a first hand basis. Number 1 & ONLY number 1 - your talking out of your black ass. There are Black people in Yemen because they are refugees. They come to Yemen to seek a better life because their "Christian" brothers back in Africa were busy killing each other like monkeys. If the Ethiopians are mistreated in Yemen, why don't they swim back to Ethiopia? Get ur facts straight, son.
@YemeniteChanter I personally seen the mistreatment refuges get in Yemen. How much of a hypocrite can you be? You cry Moslems are mistreated and disrespected in non Moslem land. But at sight of non Moslem being mistreated in Moslem land you scream why don't they leave?
So now we have to protect muslim sensitivity nationally now, what abt how air line stuwardists are portrayed sleazy. OR how many ppl make fun of Jesus Pastors salvation. Or how many jokes are made abt marriage or our presidents. But now we cant hurt muslim's feelings? This is america our rights of speech go first. All you free spiritied every1s all the same basically, lazy no research, culturally ignorant Americans better look them up. A curtain of death & oppression follows Islam. IT ALWAY HAS
Make fun of the Jews - I dare you. Yeah, you already know it's political suicide, yeah you already know it's economical, political, social suicide. All we're asking is to stop defaming us at each and every moment. On each and every newsstation at each and ever minute. As a Muslim American I see this. But you wouldn't, cause you don't know what it feels like to be a minority. So quit copping out nasty ol' Christians.
Show me another ethnic, or religious group that has been known to be motivated by their belief system to attempt to blow up planes and kill people and I'll be careful around them too. The fact is Islam is a relatively young religion that, for the most part, hasn't grown up yet. We don't have time for people with access to 20th century tech to be following a death cult focused on the elimination of the infidel to learn that a secular life is best.
@Valkes Well maybe you have forgotten about Christianity when you ppl killed 67 million Indians, or slaved Africans, or maybe when you Christians massacred 100 thousand muslims during crusade, or about about aborigines or maouris have you forget about them too?
the fact is that Christianity is the most bloodthirsty religion in the whole world.
@delshad82 All of those events happened in the past. I specifically mentioned 20th century technology. Aside from that, you're making the very silly assumption that I'm not equally wary of Christianity. Also, I might point out that I haven't forgotten about them because I never knew them to begin with. Those actions were taken by people who lived quite a while ago, I had nothing to do with it.
9-11 has already been confirmed as a false flag attack . but the anti-terrorism mentality it has created still lives on and is still being used to infringe on the people's rights and destroy their bill of rights
America is no longer the land of the free it once was, we are so far off being "free" it is depressing. whats more depressing is people still pointing fingers and enforcing negative stereotype to maintain the status quo of "muslims killed us in a terrorrist attack"
Hhhhretardmt- fuck you immature troll. You are clearly misguided or flat retarded. By the way Im not worried about that I'm worried about radical Muslims flying a fucking plane into a building filled with innocent civilians- fuck you.
His comments reflect typical American provincialism and stupidity. You would think he had spent some time in the Middle East where many people dress is the hijab or traditional Arab dress. People should have the right to dress in any way they choose, particularly if they want to dress in a way that is traditional to their culture. I am not a big fan of NPR, but he deserved to be fired. His comments were bigoted and racist.
I used to like watching williams and snow on their sunday show years ago. It seems like decency and intelligence are being taken out of mainstream views. Unfortunate, this is how sharia will win in america.
NPR BUNCH OF LIBERAL WUSSIES . WHY ARE PEOPLE SO PC TODAY. LOOK AT THE MUSLIMS TRACK RECORD. 9/11 THE SHOE BOMBER, THE GUY WITH BOMB MAKING CHEM IN HIS UNDERWEAR LAST CHRISTMAS. THE KID IN PORTLAND LAST WEEK. ALL THE SUICIDE BOMBERS. WHY SHOULD WE TRUST THEM?
@mots35 Sure! The I haven't read the Koran, but I doubt it's more violent than the bible. If you're well-read in the Bible, then you realize this, and I owe you an apology. Most Christians can't be bothered reading their own "holy" book, and this leads them to falsely believe Christianity is a religion of peace.
ohh Pardon me, if your done being so presumptive, I can inform you that I'm actually an athiest, and am therefore not bound to defending the bible or its racist and genocidal passages.
That being said, your argument is a fallacy. The Koran is justification enough to be weary of anyone who subscribes to its teachings separate from that the bible says.
and As it turns out, the Koran calls for violence against all infidels.
@mots35 You missed my point. I doubt most Muslims read the Koran either.
I have to admit, I did think you were a Christian, just out bashing "the other". I prejudged, and I owe you an apology for that.
Honestly, we would be MUCH better off without all of these religions. They're all pretty much on the same footing, as far as ignorance and tolerance go. And people are just dangerous, when they accept superstition as a way of life.
Most religious people 1) do not read/know their holy texts 2) dont care enough to follow them
However, I would be wrong if I said that goes for ALL of them. Which is precisely the problem. If 1% of 1.5 BILLION subscribe to the Koran to the letter, THAT IS A PROBLEM.
The suicide bombing community= Entirely religious. And in the 21st century tend to be a specific religion.
The scriptures associated with Islam are not your choice sir, I'm sorry to inform you.
Juan Williams and ANYONE ELSE has the right to feel nervous or scared around anyone who claims to accept those scriptures as the final word of god/ a moral code of conduct.
And based on the fact that this is an OPT-IN faction (unlike race), he should not be made to feel as though he's a bigot.
The sucide bombing community is entirely religious and religion is a CHOICE.
The fact is that that 95% of Muslims (and yes I did look that up) do not support terrorism, and are very peaceful people....as a choice.
Juan Williams has every right to feel nervous about every brown person he see's, but unfortunately, broadcasting that across America and acting surprised when he gets fired is moronic at best.
I completely agree that "The sucide bombing community is entirely religious and religion is a CHOICE.", because I said that in the post you just replied to...
great. so 95% of 1.5 billion. That translates to 75 million people who ARE willing to commit violence on behalf of a religion.
That is a problem, no matter how you slice it. It would be ridiculous, for the sake of survival, not to take into account BEHAVIORAL SIMILARITIES associated with this group.
But you didnt say that. You said "every brown person".... in an effort to confuse an issue and make it about race... EVEN THOUGH Juan Williams is himself a brown person.
@mots35@davian617 How about you stop. This is the reason that everyone fights now adays....they have their own crap to say to everyone...i may not know this but news stations arent gonna always give u the exact truth on things....look at wiki leaks then tell me that the government isnt keeping anything from us....its obvious that if we fight too often that we will be in more wars...these comments could start a war right her...just saying
if im a suicide bomber boarding an airplane, with the intention to sneak in and kill hundreds of people.. WILL I WEAR A MUSLIM GARB? juan williams, you have let your stupid judgmental racist ass get into you.
I question the morality of a religion whose god threatens to send those who do not believe in him to hell for eternity--but he loves you. I question the morality of someone who follows such a religion, because their ideas of behaving good is based on the hope for an eternal reward and the fear of punishment. It's a system based on bribes and threats. It's not based on the desire to good without reward and concern for over all human well being.
@IraqiGirl707 By the way, I didn't mention Palestine did I? Your ad hominem attacks clearly point out how civilized and educated in this discussion. It also appears that you have a problem Jews, as I made no mention of them. Islam can have Jerusalem back. I don't give one shit about who thinks they have some god given right to a fucking piece of shit land. People have died over that bullshit. This is exactly why religion is bad, it gives people justification to kill and hate for absurd reasons.
@blobvision "By the way, I didn't mention Palestine did I?"
you don't remember what you wrote? sure because you didn't wrote it , it is copy and paste from an article titled "Criticism of Islam" written by random people in wikipedia which anyone can edit its content and fabricate false sources.
@IraqiGirl707 Yes Wikipedia and the UN are secretly getting together making false accusations against Islam as part of a conspiracy. HA! THE WHO HAS TONS OF RESEARCH PROVING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IS HIGH IN ISLAMIC COUNTRIES. You are in denial and refuse to accept any proof that you disagree with.
@blobvision give me proofs by muslims themselves and I promise I will pay it some attention
wikipedia isn't trusted because it could easily edit by unknown persons, and why UN interested with domestic violence in islamic countries while they never do anything to stop american-israeli violence against them what the message they want to tell us? what the msg you want 2 tell me?! you want 2 say that muslims savages kill themselves more than anybody else do? you want to say it's ok to kill muslims
@IraqiGirl707 I'm not a supporter of all of the UN's actions, but I don't think they are actively against Muslims and the WHO's research is to call attention to much needed help in mideastern countries, but there is little the who can do on it's own. I think that part of the reason why people won't let Israel give up Jerusalem is because of remorse for the holocaust and other religious reasons. I don't have a preference for Jews keeping Jerusalem, but both sides are killing each other over it.
@IraqiGirl707 I'm not saying that Muslims themselves are bad people. I think Muslims generally are good people. However, think that Islam, much like Christianity, promotes irrational thinking that can be harmful. Religion has a set of beliefs that are antithetical to change and progress, it even abhors it. I'm just concerned about what I hear about the way women are being treated. I suppose I have no other solutions than calling it to attention and hoping people will help and accept help.
@blobvision so you're an atheist that think religions is evil and it spoils people?! while it is totally contrary!! people who keep twist religions, and atheist aren't the perfect example of humanity because they commit crimes too and violate the laws, and you blame islam for what some dumb muslims do, is that what made you leave it!! you're an idiot then. anyway tell me do you think atheists or non-believers in general don't mistreat women?
@IraqiGirl707 I think it's fair to say that you equally bashed my beliefs, religious and political. Nobody is perfect. Sure there are atheists who aren't good people. I personally hate them. But atheists aren't doing terrible acts in the name of atheism. Most atheists, at least the ones in the west, are usually pacifists, object to war unless there's no way around it, believe in charity, equality, welfare and human rights.
@blobvision I see we got out of the subject in our discussions, the vid originally talks about Juan Williams, let's go on in our discussion elsewhere, you're welcome in my channel to talk about atheism if you want, you will find me more patient and open-minded
@IraqiGirl707 Thank you for allowing me to argue my side, and I am interested in yours as well. I'm glad we could find some common ground. I never intend on being harsh, but I do get very passionate about what I think. It's good for both sides to be open minded when talking about such issues. I would be interested in having more talks with you about both of our cultures, and in a more positive light. I will be more patient too. I also think people misunderstand both Muslims and Atheists.
@IraqiGirl707 The more secular people are in the west, whether they are atheist, agnostic, or even consider themselves secular Christians, treat women the best and promote women's rights the most out of any group. The people who are against protecting women are the extremist Christians and Republicans, and base these actions on what the Bible says about women. I used to be a Christian myself and found that my holy book contained passages that were anti-humanistic. That's why I left.
@IraqiGirl707 The other criticism I have of religion is not just that the holy books contain passages that preach bad values mixed with a few good ones, but that since such bad things do exist in holy texts, then when bad people read these passages they use their religion to justify their stupidity, and since religion is such a touchy subject, people are afraid or judged when pointing it out. I wish we could talk about people in terms of conduct alone, but it just isn't always that easy.
@blobvision your argument hinges on the definition of "bad" values and people....what defines bad? Most people refer to the religious texts do define such terms as "good" or "bad", I myself prefer the "golden rule" found in the Bible. Im honestly curious as to where an atheist such as yourself derives these definitions, I know i sound sarcastic but I'm not
@kobeballer Behold, the typical arrogant theist assumption; that one simply cannot be good without Biblical morality. In you opinion, those who don't adhere to your religion is hopelessly evil and completely incapable of understanding when they are truly doing horrible acts against humanity. One can, and in most cases left without a choice, cherry pick verses out of the Bible that comply with any decent idea of moral behavior, but they are left with the convenience of ignoring the bad ones.
@kobeballer Ideas of what constitute good and bad behavior are hugely part of societal beliefs and practices held by the majority of a population or culture. They are also based on common sense and can be swayed by empirical evidence, examples such as the court of law and medical science show how science can aid our decisions in behavior. We use science aid in our decision making, which provides us with a realistic approach to what consequences are attached to our actions and promotes fairness.
@kobeballer I question the morality of a religion whose god is genocidal, malevolent, sexist, homophobic, despotic, and in many ways puerile and selfish. The God of the Old Testament commanded that adulterers, homosexuals, witches, nonbelievers and victims of rape be crimes punishable by death, not just by god himself, but his followers as well. His concern of two men having sex outweighed his concern of child rape, slavery or the equal treatment of women.
The "Golden Rule", is enshrined within Christianity, Hinduism, Confucianism, Buddhism, Islam, Hudaism, Toaism... you name it. At the end of the day, it's not just a moral / religious perspective, but constitutes good old universal common sense. Personally, I think "Golden Rule" doesn't go quite far enough. Bill and Ted got it spot on:" Be excellent to each other"
@blobvision who these stats about palestinian women? so I asked is there any country called palestine with governmental organizations to take such stats, if there is no governmentalorganizations to take these stats no international organization would be able to take it because such stats depend basiclly on police reports, do you understand this you idiot?!I doubt you do.anyway I know now why no one believe you because your lies don't have any common sense
@blobvision@blobvision again in 3rd world countries like pakistan there is no possible way to take accurate polls or stats about anything especially violence in houses or sexual assault because usually it has been never reported, due to traditions, so stop spreading false stats, try now to justify accurate stats in west especially US.
look to the obvious false argument, burning alive is Hindu tradition, it seems you wish if it is islamic teaching so that you justify why you left islam
@IraqiGirl707 So you're admitting that women are too afraid to admit that their husbands are beating them due to Islamic traditions and plain fear. DOESN'T THAT SAY SOMETHING ABOUT HOW MUSLIM WOMEN ARE TREATED? Their husbands make them afraid to tell anyone they're being abused. So the women who were polled and brave enough to do so were reported, and many more were not, doesn't that mean that a higher percentage of women in that country are being abused than the stats showed?
@blobvision it is happening anyway whether I like it or not, it isn't islamic traditions, it is just traditions of the society not all of what is going on in muslim countries is truly islamic, these countries faced dark ages where islam spirit collapsed and became weaker even though they still muslims by name, islam give the right for anyone who face abuse to complain and achieve justice.
@IraqiGirl707 Here is a link proving wikipedia's claim on domestic violence against women in Pakistan. Once again this is WHO a United Nations organization. This was an attempt to draw attention to the well being of women living in Pakistan.
If these are acts of a peaceful religion, the kind that quells violence and promotes peace, the kind of which the world could not be moral without, then I am irrefutably in fact Abraham Lincoln and nobody can tell me otherwise.
The incidence in many Muslim-majority countries (where women hide their bruises and little is ever reported to authorities) is uncertain, but believed to be great by Muslim feminists. In some Muslim countries, such as Saudi Arabia, reports indicate that domestic violence is quite widespread. One recent study, in Syria, found that 25% of the married women surveyed said that they had been beaten by their husbands.
A 1987 study conducted by the Women's Division and another study by the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan in 1996 suggested that domestic violence takes place in approximately 80 percent of the households in the country.[29][30][31] In Pakistan, domestic violence occurs in forms of beatings, sexual violence or torture, mutilation, acid attacks and burning the victim alive (bride burning)
Religious laws are human laws. Even if god existed, man had to recreate his law in writing, and you have to take faith in the humans who wrote these laws. They were written by human hands and they sounds like human created laws. Islam took it's beliefs from past religions especially Christianity, and Christianity took it's beliefs from Judaism and other religions such as Mirthraism and Zorastrianism, Krishnaism, and so on. None of them say anything that sounds divine.

Listen I declare my bias--if I were any further left I'd be in outer space--I thought Williams remarks unfortunate. Having said that I think NPR are a bunch of sanctimonious hypocrites--his remarks had I am positive nothing to do with his firing--I bet they were gunning for him because he has the civility to talk to people who disagree with him. NPR gets Gov money right? If so I bet they are in legal trouble.
4. African Americans invented; the filaments in light bulbs, the first seed planters, the modern method of meat preservation using sodium and nitrates, gas masks, stop lights, blood banks, train to station communication, pacemakers, many models of IBM computers, imaging X-ray spectrometers, they also invented and improved many of the parts that go into radios and televisions, jazz and rock and roll.
: a person obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices; especially : one who regards or treats the members of a group (as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance
i fail to see the hatred and intolerance. prejudiced and biased perhaps. not so sure about the bigotry
You know I"ve been noticing some ridiculous one sided arguments made by both sides of the poltical spectrum. Liberals think it's wrong to talk bad about Muslims but ok to talk bad about the Christian Religious Right, while Conservatives think it's wring to talk bad about Christians, but ok to talk bad about Muslims. Why can't both sides see that superstitious beliefs, when taken too literally can have horrible effects on society? This is not a race issue, it's an issue about bad religion.
@BlueRoseRocketBand I can see that you got an 'F' in history, or maybe you watch too many white supremest Davis Duke videos. Either way, you sir are sick.
@zengreen7 I see... if we do not Suck Up to the Pathetic Grifter in the Whitehouse, we are Racists?
This lame racist argument is why it will be a long time before another black man gets in the Whitehouse cause people are tired of the drama of a black president and his followers. RACIST THIS AND RACIST THAT!
As for my F in History, Please show me the FACTS where I was wrong?
In mean time, look around your home and be in AWE and WONDER at the WHITEMANS creations!
Naw, I will give your kind credit for poisoning the environment, mercury in the fishes, steroids in the livestock, flying drugs into the country, serial killings, WMD,
and all around corruption. Indeed white men have done far more evil to nonwhites than good, luckily, your end is at hand, your tendencies to engage in homosexuality MORE THAN ANY OTHER GROUP and low birth rates alone, will
save the world from your evil. I'll give your kind another 50 years tops.
@zengreen7 Same old re-direct. Your just another whining Black man that blames all the world problems on white folk. Funny u speak the Kings English pretty Good! Why is that?
Save the world from white evil? And what become like your homeland?
As for whats going to happen in 50 yrs? Dont count us White folk out. Thanks to OBO and whiners like u alot of whites are re-thinking the "Roots"guilt trip. Things are going to change!
U want my respect ? Stop whining and looking for a free ride!
Nope, same old truth, and you Wookies are forever accusing others of trying to get a free ride, but that is exactly what you got at the expense of nonwhites, but as I said, your reign is almost over.
@BlueRoseRocketBand2 Actually many of those white man creations you see around your house that you're talking about were created by Japaneses and Chinese people.
@blobvision Maybe improved on but best check the original patents! Original ideas .Before the copys and exchange/theft of ideas.
Trace the line back to the power station, the transformers, the 60hz, radio, TV, air flight, space flight, industrial revolution, exploring, manufacturing, light blub, records, horseless buggy, rifled barrel, explosives, lasers, feeding the world, aqualung, medicine, medical. I could go on& on.
To change OUR Rightful place in the Accention of Mankind is a Vile Racism.
@BlueRoseRocketBand2 I don't really know where to begin to correct your massive failures of logic.
1. Contending that caucasians aren't the master race of humanity is not a form of racism, but a logical deduction backed by biology and human evolution supporting the fact that our DNA is not different enough from one another to make the charge that one race is in some way superior to the next. There is no evidence whatsoever correlating one race with a higher intelligence quotient than others.
2. Caucasians at this time are not in anyway the inventors of feeding the world. Firstly, feeding the world is not an invention. Secondly, white people have not fed the entire world, nor are they the only people in the process of doing so at any scale.
3. This third rebuttal is just a list of inventions that white people didn't create and refute some of your claims about the technologies you listed. I will start with geographical areas and ethnicities tied to the intentions I mention.
Asia: Created; the first written language(Sumer), the first handmade fabrics(China), glass(Phoenicia), field irrigation/agriculture(China and Sumer), cartography/map-making (Mesopotamia), crossbows(China), modern mathematics(India)
Asia: Flamethrowers(China 919 A.D.), the first medical syringe(Iraq), Chess(India),
paper currency(China), magnetic compass(China in the 1200's), toothbrushes(China 1400's), man made satellites(Russia), computer soundcards (Singapore), seismographs (China), they also invented playstation.
1)Two days after George Soros gave NPR TWO MILLION dollars for new reporters - they fired Juan. Soros is the billionaire that helped finance Obama's election. . . . . . . . . . . 2)
Nina Totenberg also works for NPR. She went on TV and said she hoped that Jesse Helms and his grandchildren would all get AIDS. This slimy piece of crap still works for NPR - they didn't fire her.
Why the double standard ?? - Because she made those comments about white people instead of muslims - that's why.
continued from below........yes, we can have a bodily reaction of fear because we all have been taught to be afraid of the looks of certain things...we can make up all sorts of fears about this or that but it doesn't make it true....get real Juan, live in the moment, you were WAY off base.......NPR rocks!
@sarita931 NPR and Huffington Post are as biased as Fox News. Free speech isn't a right anymore. Even Michael Moore thought it was ridiculous that Juan was fired. I think what he said was a little silly, maybe even slightly racist, but it was sort of justified, maybe not that we should fear all Muslims, but acknowledge that it is a problem that keeps happening and we should get to talk about it.
his comment about seeing muslims dressed as muslims and having a fearful reaction is the same as white people or whatever color, being afraid of blacks if they are dressed like gangsters and walk by them. It's a big assumption that because someone looks a certain way, means they are that way......wrong, wrong, wrong Juan Williams....
his comment about seeing muslims dressed as muslims and having a fearful reaction is the same as white people or whatever color, being afraid of blacks if they are dressed like gangsters and walk by them. @A86 - "The IRA, KKK, Tamil Tigers, Sri Lankan nationalists and people in Kenya and Nigeria burning witches are Muslim? Since when?"
I'm really confused as to what you mean. I never said all terrorists were Muslim. What I said was a majority of terrorists in the past 20 years have been Muslims. I also remarked that certain religious beliefs inflame such acts. The KKK are a Christian group. The Tamil Tigers ironically recruited Muslims in their beginning, and helped make weapons for them.
@necropolis71 just as "conservative" is used by the liberal/progressive. A swinging door ALWAYS swings both ways.
It depends on whose ox is being gored.
Personally I find it funny to watch the liberal/progressives whining to the high heavens now that the opposition has taken up the bad behavior they have EMPLOYED/CONDONED forever ... against them.
I believe turn about is fair play and if you are not tough enough to take it better not play the cards in the beginning.
Liberals talk shit about the religious right, and it's ok. I even agree with them when they do. But It's especially ok to liberals because Republicans are white, which they ignore. People pretend that no religious-political agendas other than Nazism and the Religious right should get to be criticized, and that's my problem. While racism is bad, we should equally treat people with respect, while we can also equally criticize people who happen to be part of a radical agenda. That's free speech.
The implication by Juan Williams in his statement was that those that wear traditional garb are extremists. How does this NOT SOUND RACIST? It's like saying a black man with his pants low and hairnet are automatically all thugs and have rap sheets a mile long. The fact is, Muslims are already in this country and there are too many to scare away with your hatred. Either accept them and don't associate them all with extremists or move to where there are none, where ever that is.
@dpthroat69 Republicans get to use racist comments all the time. Have you heard what Limbaugh has called Obama which were worse than the comments by Juan Williams. He still has a job. Yeah it's not ok to racially profile people. Racism should be abhorred, so should people who always use the race card when people are trying to talk about bad religion. I think it's silly to fear every Muslim who walks by, but that doesn't mean it's not ok to point out that Jihadist Islam is a threat.
@dpthroat69 I think what Juan said was a little extreme. But there is a tie between Islam and terrorism and 9/11 has 1% to do with it. Because if 9/11 was the only incidence then yes, people blaming all Muslims is wrong. But 9/11 was but one of the incidences that have been happening, not just here in the US, but globally. The Chechen parliament building just last week was attacked by Jihadists. There have been attacks in Britain, Argentina, Spain, the Netherlands, India, Israel, Somalia, etc...
@blobvision - The IRA, KKK, Hindutva movement, Tamil Tigers, Sri Lankan nationalists and people in Kenya and Nigeria burning witches are Muslim? Since when?
I'm not calling for more unnecessary wars. I think we need to start talking about this issue, not suppressing it. The Iraq war did not bring peace to their people. But I think we can find a way to come up with a plan to help mitigate acts of war and terror on our part and on militant Islam's. Letting terrorists get away with murder is not the way either. I don't think much of what we have done has helped the situation at all. But I don't see liberals or conservatives taking this issue properly.
Ask a Muslim who supports Sharia Law and they will tell you the same thing. This is what they demand. The death of freedom. Period. It's almost against the law here to have free speech, especially since 9/11. Juan got canned for speaking his mind, whether you or I agree with his statements or not, people have the right to say what they want. We are risking our own freedoms over the simple issue of Islam. We can't talk bad about a religion because they aren't white. This is what they want.
@blobvision I support Sharia laws and I don't agree with your nonsense, muslims in early ages were choosing their ruler..isn't it some kind of democracy?! they reason for why some muslims not like the word "democracy" because the west is working on enforcing it on poor country for their own interests not for its people?! I can say I hate the democracy in that way the west apply it, I support islamic democracy, it called Al-Shura, feel free to look it up
@IraqiGirl707 bullshit, islamic democracy is BULLSHIT, there is no such thing, islamic democracy is what they called iran, look what is happening in iran, u wouldnt know obviously because u havent been there, but i have, i am iranian, i know what kind of shit islamic law causes, look at the arab countries, none of them are democratic, u think the people in saudi arabia CHOSE the saudis as the ruling family, the closest things arabs have had to democracy is IRAQ and that is after teh US came in
@tupacIzAlive33 and you judge islam acording to what Iran is doing? I talked about first generation of muslims who supposed to know islam more than anybody else uncluding random people on the fucking internet, aha you're iranian!!you're and ex muslim or you're Magian ?!
@IraqiGirl707 no i judge islam by what countries with islamic law are doing, iran is just one of them, saudi arabia is even worse, women cannot even fuckin drive in saudi arabia, let alone vote, atleast the moderate arab countries like jordan, syria, lebannon give women some rights because they have become more secular, but the muslim countries with hardcore sharia have the worst treatment of women, etc, etc, and no im not an EX muslim, i am not religous however i still identify myeslf as muslim
@tupacIzAlive33 and who would think what in Iran and saudi arabia are islamic laws? they claim that, is that meant it is true? are they who Quran was sent to them? you judge on something according to what its origin is saying.plain and simple...if someone twist sharia laws that's his fault, if some misunderstood Sharia laws it's his own problem, again plain and simple.
you're not religious ok then you believe human can set up his own laws?!! I see this laws failed in the west!!
@IraqiGirl707 yeah i believe a human can set up his own laws, im not a brainwashed person like u, who thinks she needs a book to give her her laws, i get my laws from logic and common sense not some book, i notice u keep criticizing the west, so u think middle eastern society is better then the west? where u can beat women according to sharia law of course, im sorry LIGHT BEATINGS, ahahah wat a joke, so u in ur perfect sharia world how r women treated? r they forced tow ear hijab? wat else?
@tupacIzAlive33 obviously there is God who already set the laws inside us,he just give us free will to be committed to it, religious laws aren't different than common sense, have you ever heard about religious laws says it's ok to kill innocent ppl?! or a religion says it's ok to lie or to steal others money? if we exclude human cravings which make some people twist these laws for their own interests, then it would be just like the nature moral values were planted in human when he was created
@IraqiGirl707 Religious laws are not common sense, other than the idea that we should treat each other with kindness, but that idea came from simple human compassion. Religions hate science, which helps aid us in making proper decisions that can save lives through medicine and technology, promotes proper justice in court of law, it helps us determine our origins and how to survive happily and prosperously in our world. Faith ignores facts and creates it's own, some of which cost lives.
@IraqiGirl707 "you're not religious ok then you believe human can set up his own laws?!! I see this laws failed in the west!!"
How did these laws fail in the West exactly? Women at least have basic human rights here. We have the right to choose whatever religion we want, and don't kill each other over them. We can have public displays of affection without fear of being arrested or murdered. We can say what we want, because we have free speech. Most of us have at least decent living standards.
@IraqiGirl707 Religious laws are human laws. Even if god existed, man had to recreate his law in writing, and you have to take faith in the humans who wrote them. They were written by human hands. They even sound like human created laws. Islam took it's beliefs from past religions especially Christianity, and Christianity took it's beliefs from Judaism and other religions such as Mirthraism and Zorastrianism, Krishnaism, and so on. None of them say anything that sounds divine.
@blobvision it failed because there is high rates of crimes, only in USA there are 25% of prisoners of the whole of world , high rates of rape, murder and robbery...etc
the good thing about religious laws even those which aren't islamic is that it reinforce the inner desire for obeying it , do you think what it is best, the fear of God or fear of policeman?
@IraqiGirl707 I've never heard of women in the US being arrested for exposing their faces, being on dates with men and drinking in public. The US abhors domestic violence, yet in many Muslim countries that is pretty normal for women. You might not have experienced this, but many Mideastern women have. This behavior is despised heavily in our culture. The US does have high incarceration rates, but that's due to many marijuana and similar drug arrests of nonviolent users, which might change soon.
@IraqiGirl707 The United States does not have the highest rates of murder and violence in the world, it's about in the middle compared globally, yet it's still pretty uncommon that normal people are murdered on the streets, it's usually gang related and gang isolated. The countries with the least amount of violence are usually secular countries like Denmark, Switzerland, Sweden, the Netherlands, Canada, France and Japan. These countries have the best education, equality and living standards.
@IraqiGirl707 The worst thing about the US is the Republican extremists who are religious and are high jacking our democracy with radicals ideals, the same ones who were the most favorable of the Iraq war. President Bush and his gang lied to the public about Iraq, claiming it was his holy duty to attack Iraq. This war was unpopular to the most secular and liberal citizens of America. I had no support of it and it has ruined our economy. Our problems have been mostly caused by the religious right
@IraqiGirl707 I don't need religion to know killing is wrong. I don't think anyone does. If we killed each other and treated one another in abusive ways without remorse, it would not be conducive to a unsustainable, unhappy and bleak society that no sane person would want to live in. I think people know deep down inside that being good makes a happy life, that is common sense and requires no religion. Religious texts tell adherents to kill others for god and promotes other cruelties.
@IraqiGirl707 I found these studies on domestic violence in the mideast on wikipedia which were quite disturbing;
One study found that half of Palestinian women have been the victims of domestic violence. A WHO study in Babol found that within the previous year 15.0% of wives had been physically abused, 42.4% had been sexually abused and 81.5% had been psychologically abused (to various degrees) by their husbands, blaming low income, young age, unemployment and low education.
Juan Williams is so random... He pulls comments out of his ass all the time.

totalbliss1 Being Black on a plane then would not have been a decent reason to be nervous but some would have been.

How do think they would've felt in the sixties??
totalbliss1 8 months ago
@totalbliss1
Scarface1034 6 months ago
@totalbliss1 Your comment exemplifies the NPR like myopia that liberals have brought to this discussion. The fact of the matter is that I, a racially tolerant American, am slightly nervous when I see someone in traditonal muslim attire in an airport. In addition, a group of blacks did not kill 3,000 Americans. A black terrorist did not declare a war on America in a court testimony. Also, the last time I checked, Muslims have never been enslaved in this country. It's apples and oranges.
breakfastdaynight 6 months ago
Just because he made a book about civil rights for black people doesn't mean he can't be racist against some other types of people. There are radical Christians. The IRA has killed other people because of there religion and will kill other Christians because they aren't the same kind of Christian. When England or Ireland has had Schools , homes , and businesses blown up killing innocent people there wasn't an out cry over Christianity. In the name of Christianity there has been more deaths.

most apes on tv have serious racial inferiority complexes "first black (WRONG!) president!" but this juan guy has it most severely.

The fact is Islam is a relatively young religion that, for the most part, hasn't grown up yet. We don't have time for people with access to 20th century tech to be following a death cult focused on the elimination of the infidel to learn that a secular life is best.

Ever read the Koran davian?
Do you understand the concept of abrogation?
Do you realize the Koran is not in chronological order but in order of longest to shortest surah?
Do you understand that surah 9 was one of the last written chronologically; therefore these verses from Medinah abrogate the previous from Mecca?
Have you read the verse of the sword? Surah 9:5?
And you still say there is nothing to fear. "Dont worry." "Only 5% of 1.5 billion actually follow their text".

I have to admit, I did think you were a Christian, just out bashing "the other". I prejudged, and I owe you an apology for that.
Honestly, we would be MUCH better off without all of these religions. They're all pretty much on the same footing, as far as ignorance and tolerance go. And people are just dangerous, when they accept superstition as a way of life.
johnedwards1968 1 year ago
@johnedwards1968
No, You are missing the point.
I agree:
Most religious people 1) do not read/know their holy texts 2) dont care enough to follow them
However, I would be wrong if I said that goes for ALL of them. Which is precisely the problem. If 1% of 1.5 BILLION subscribe to the Koran to the letter, THAT IS A PROBLEM.
The suicide bombing community= Entirely religious. And in the 21st century tend to be a specific religion.
Therefore: worth calling out on it!!

I completely agree that "The sucide bombing community is entirely religious and religion is a CHOICE.", because I said that in the post you just replied to...
davian617 1 year ago
@davian617
great. so 95% of 1.5 billion.

@IraqiGirl707 The UN isn't the only group reporting these acts. The BBC published this piece, which you will automatically disagree with.

IraqiGirl707 1 year ago
@IraqiGirl707 Yes Wikipedia and the UN are secretly getting together making false accusations against Islam as part of a conspiracy. HA! THE WHO HAS TONS OF RESEARCH PROVING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IS HIGH IN ISLAMIC COUNTRIES. You are in denial and refuse to accept any proof that you disagree with.
blobvision 1 year ago
@blobvision give me proofs by muslims themselves and I promise I will pay it some attention
wikipedia isn't trusted because it could easily edit by unknown persons, and why UN interested with domestic violence in islamic countries while they never do anything to stop american-israeli violence against them what the message they want to tell us? what the msg you want 2 tell me?! you want 2 say that muslims savages kill themselves more than anybody else do? you want to say it's ok to kill muslims
IraqiGirl707 1 year ago
@IraqiGirl707 I'm not a supporter of all of the UN's actions, but I don't think they are actively against Muslims and the WHO's research is to call attention to much needed help in mideastern countries, but there is little the who can do on it's own. I think that part of the reason why people won't let Israel give up Jerusalem is because of remorse for the holocaust and other religious reasons. I don't have a preference for Jews keeping Jerusalem, but both sides are killing each other over it.
blobvision 1 year ago
@IraqiGirl707 I'm not saying that Muslims themselves are bad people. I think Muslims generally are good people. However, think that Islam, much like Christianity, promotes irrational thinking that can be harmful. Religion has a set of beliefs that are antithetical to change and progress, it even abhors it. I'm just concerned about what I hear about the way women are being treated. I suppose I have no other solutions than calling it to attention and hoping people will help and accept help.
blobvision 1 year ago
@blobvision so you're an atheist that think religions is evil and it spoils people?! while it is totally contrary!! people who keep twist religions, and atheist aren't the perfect example of humanity because they commit crimes too and violate the laws, and you blame islam for what some dumb muslims do, is that what made you leave it!! you're an idiot then. anyway tell me do you think atheists or non-believers in general don't mistreat women?
IraqiGirl707 1 year ago
@IraqiGirl707 I think it's fair to say that you equally bashed my beliefs, religious and political. Nobody is perfect. Sure there are atheists who aren't good people. I personally hate them. But atheists aren't doing terrible acts in the name of atheism. Most atheists, at least the ones in the west, are usually pacifists, object to war unless there's no way around it, believe in charity, equality, welfare and human rights.
blobvision 1 year ago
@blobvision I see we got out of the subject in our discussions, the vid originally talks about Juan Williams, let's go on in our discussion elsewhere, you're welcome in my channel to talk about atheism if you want, you will find me more patient and open-minded
IraqiGirl707 1 year ago
@IraqiGirl707 Thank you for allowing me to argue my side, and I am interested in yours as well. I'm glad we could find some common ground. I never intend on being harsh, but I do get very passionate about what I think. It's good for both sides to be open minded when talking about such issues. I would be interested in having more talks with you about both of our cultures, and in a more positive light. I will be more patient too. I also think people misunderstand both Muslims and Atheists.
blobvision 1 year ago
@IraqiGirl707 The more secular people are in the west, whether they are atheist, agnostic, or even consider themselves secular Christians, treat women the best and promote women's rights the most out of any group. The people who are against protecting women are the extremist Christians and Republicans, and base these actions on what the Bible says about women. I used to be a Christian myself and found that my holy book contained passages that were anti-humanistic. That's why I left.
blobvision 1 year ago
@IraqiGirl707 The other criticism I have of religion is not just that the holy books contain passages that preach bad values mixed with a few good ones, but that since such bad things do exist in holy texts, then when bad people read these passages they use their religion to justify their stupidity, and since religion is such a touchy subject, people are afraid or judged when pointing it out. I wish we could talk about people in terms of conduct alone, but it just isn't always that easy.
blobvision 1 year ago
@blobvision your argument hinges on the definition of "bad" values and people....what defines bad? Most people refer to the religious texts do define such terms as "good" or "bad", I myself prefer the "golden rule" found in the Bible. Im honestly curious as to where an atheist such as yourself derives these definitions, I know i sound sarcastic but I'm not
kobeballer 1 year ago
@kobeballer Behold, the typical arrogant theist assumption; that one simply cannot be good without Biblical morality. In you opinion, those who don't adhere to your religion is hopelessly evil and completely incapable of understanding when they are truly doing horrible acts against humanity. One can, and in most cases left without a choice, cherry pick verses out of the Bible that comply with any decent idea of moral behavior, but they are left with the convenience of ignoring the bad ones.
blobvision 1 year ago
@blobvision I neither said nor implied that what you said constitutes my beliefs...you know what they say about assuming...
kobeballer 1 year ago
@kobeballer Ideas of what constitute good and bad behavior are hugely part of societal beliefs and practices held by the majority of a population or culture. They are also based on common sense and can be swayed by empirical evidence, examples such as the court of law and medical science show how science can aid our decisions in behavior. We use science aid in our decision making, which provides us with a realistic approach to what consequences are attached to our actions and promotes fairness.
blobvision 1 year ago
@kobeballer I question the morality of a religion whose god is genocidal, malevolent, sexist, homophobic, despotic, and in many ways puerile and selfish. The God of the Old Testament commanded that adulterers, homosexuals, witches, nonbelievers and victims of rape be crimes punishable by death, not just by god himself, but his followers as well. His concern of two men having sex outweighed his concern of child rape, slavery or the equal treatment of women.
blobvision 1 year ago
@kobeballer

IraqiGirl707 1 year ago
@blobvision @blobvision again in 3rd world countries like pakistan there is no possible way to take accurate polls or stats about anything especially violence in houses or sexual assault because usually it has been never reported, due to traditions, so stop spreading false stats, try now to justify accurate stats in west especially US.
look to the obvious false argument, burning alive is Hindu tradition, it seems you wish if it is islamic teaching so that you justify why you left islam
IraqiGirl707 1 year ago
@IraqiGirl707 So you're admitting that women are too afraid to admit that their husbands are beating them due to Islamic traditions and plain fear. DOESN'T THAT SAY SOMETHING ABOUT HOW MUSLIM WOMEN ARE TREATED? Their husbands make them afraid to tell anyone they're being abused. So the women who were polled and brave enough to do so were reported, and many more were not, doesn't that mean that a higher percentage of women in that country are being abused than the stats showed?
blobvision 1 year ago
@blobvision it is happening anyway whether I like it or not, it isn't islamic traditions, it is just traditions of the society not all of what is going on in muslim countries is truly islamic, these countries faced dark ages where islam spirit collapsed and became weaker even though they still muslims by name, islam give the right for anyone who face abuse to complain and achieve justice.

If these are acts of a peaceful religion, the kind that quells violence and promotes peace, the kind of which the world could not be moral without, then I am irrefutably in fact Abraham Lincoln and nobody can tell me otherwise.
blobvision 1 year ago
The incidence in many Muslim-majority countries (where women hide their bruises and little is ever reported to authorities) is uncertain, but believed to be great by Muslim feminists. In some Muslim countries, such as Saudi Arabia, reports indicate that domestic violence is quite widespread. One recent study, in Syria, found that 25% of the married women surveyed said that they had been beaten by their husbands.
blobvision 1 year ago

Either accept them and don't associate them all with extremists or move to where there are none, where ever that is.
dpthroat69 1 year ago
@dpthroat69 Republicans get to use racist comments all the time. Have you heard what Limbaugh has called Obama which were worse than the comments by Juan Williams. He still has a job. Yeah it's not ok to racially profile people. Racism should be abhorred, so should people who always use the race card when people are trying to talk about bad religion. I think it's silly to fear every Muslim who walks by, but that doesn't mean it's not ok to point out that Jihadist Islam is a threat.
blobvision 1 year ago
@dpthroat69 I think what Juan said was a little extreme. But there is a tie between Islam and terrorism and 9/11 has 1% to do with it. Because if 9/11 was the only incidence then yes, people blaming all Muslims is wrong. But 9/11 was but one of the incidences that have been happening, not just here in the US, but globally. I don't think much of what we have done has helped the situation at all. But I don't see liberals or conservatives taking this issue properly.

@IraqiGirl707 I found these studies on domestic violence in the mideast on wikipedia which were quite disturbing;
