  • The service is somehow disconnected

  • Very funny commercial! Could someone please tell me what the narrator says starting at 00:28 ? Thanks :-)

  • it says" china airlines every week 3 times, non stop flight to seattle and houston, direct for home, so goooooood! "

  • Who in their right mind would fly with China Airlines.

  • I was planning to take the route to singapore, as im in seattle. Too bad tho, they cut it. I guess i'll take singapore airlines instead from san fran.

  • the fuken china airlines flight attendants dont know how to speak english and were extreemley rude! on my flight garrgh

  • Are you sure it's not Air China, because my dad was a China Airlines flight attendant and he speaks perfect english along with his colleagues.

  • nope it was china airlines, it was on my BRS to TPE Flight! No offence to you and your dad but the china airlines crew that i had was extreemley unhelpful

  • Sorry, it's China Airlines, not Air China

  • @berflaberab2 do you know how to speak chinese?

  • i thought China Airlines only served Houston as cargo service?

  • CI used to have Houston passenger service via Seattle, but it cut the Houston-Seattle part because the segment performed poorly; CI does not have cabotage between IAH-SEA, so it cannot take advantage of the routing.

If CI tries IAH-NGO-TPE it would do better.

  • No, and they are usually occupying our gate in Seattle, KSEA. I really like to hand out with them.

  • Any aircraft with the word China or Korean on it means NO!

  • The Korean airlines are safe. Korean Air hasn't had a fatal incident since 1997. Asiana's last fatal incident was 1993.

China Airlines has a poor rep because it is China Airlines, not because it is from the Chinese civilization. EVA Air, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, and several PRC airlines have better safety reputations.

  • I like Asiana, but even with KALs "Improved" saftey record, I would NEVER fly them. The only reason their record is what it is today is because of Oversite from One World. And their last incident was last year, They landed on a taxiway in Japan. Fatal or not STUPID Mistake.

SQ, EVA do not have China in them, and Yes I am aware EVA in also a Taiwanese airlines, but mostly flown by round eyes (Just Like CX)

  • KAL had oversight from Skyteam, not Oneworld. Either way it helped.

  • Now they cancel the flight b/w seattle and houston. I cant take china airline back to Hong Kong...

  • I don't see why you would need to. IAH-SEA-TPE-HKG is longer than IAH-NRT-HKG, IAH-SFO-HKG or IAH-LAX-HKG.

If CI tries a route like IAH-NGO-TPE it will do better.

  • EVA AIR is better because they never crashed before.

  • Once actually, but not their fault. A MD-90 operated for EVA's domestic sub caught fire in Hualien. The cause was illegal chemicals stored by a passenger. One fatality.

  • .. CLassic

  • China Airlines RULES! Toa sia!

  • No it doesn't, it overran the runway once, another time it crashed into a building in Taipei, once it also landed in the middle of the runway and it overran into the water and who would forget a 737 China Airlines exploded in Japan in 2007 because of the engine?

  • Screw China Airlines, Go for EVA Air.

  • YOU ARE SO RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Man, the Texas stereotype cracks me up! BTW China Airlines has a bus service from the Chinatown and Sugar Land to Bush Airport...

  • ladies and gentlemen. welcome aboard taiwan republic of china airlines. from taipei via seattle to houston. also, eva air has flight from taipei via seattle to newark.

  • nicead!

  • Great ad and original! Reveals a clear message.
