Great work Grisha. Its great to see someone giving back into the grid..... we need more open heartfelt expression in this world!... I would love to hear some of your compositions.
This young genious playing at the old folks home just tells me he is a man of character & good breeding. A class act!! I may be a "classless american" , but I know a good man& great musician when I see one. Thanks for posting this. Great musician & gentleman..
I love playing for elderly people just as much as I love playing for the young. I love and respect the old generation. There are many things we youngsters can learn from them.
I've met retired professors of Russian literature, former chemical engineers, deeply committed musicians at this "old folks" home. They deserve respect and clearly, Grisha Goryachev understands the privilege it is to play for his elders, the very people who saw him perform as a child back in Russia. Clearly he hasn't forgotten where he comes from or that he too will be old one day.
I'm really disappointed by the attitudes represented here towards this amazing guitarist's audience. I know these people. Their cultural knowledge is vast and rich, their appreciation of music profound, their experience as immigrants to the US from the former Soviet Union and China beyond what most of us can imagine.
Wow. I have been listening to this guy on Youtube for the past couple of years and I really can't believe that he is playing at the 'old folks' home. That would be like seeing Snoop Dog performing at a hole-in-the-wall bar somewhere.
kerrywsmith, sounds like you are right into the fame and riches crap!!typical stupid capitalistic american.... everthing is reduced to money and fame for you right?
somethings are just a pleasure to do for your soul...could it be that you have lost yours?
Sounds like sefokaya is a pseudonym for Liam Gallagher. The one good thing is that you such high regard for yourself that we mere mortals don't need to add to this weighty burden.
I am merely someone who is a great aficionado of flamenco. It's the art I devote my life to and I strive to become a Flamenco-guitarist.
You pathetic little man are trying to put words in my mouth because you're in some bad mood or something. Get a life and stop meddling with others. Yours needs plenty of work anyway...
All together....aahhhhhhhh

The disrespect for the elderly is beyond rudeness, it is like shooting yourself in the head. We are all each other, don't you get it?

assenine and shallow. old folks don't deserve beautiful music? you don't deserve music, you empty husk of a human being.

You completely misinterpreted what I said. I meant that he should broaden thwe demographics of his audience his audience.
And there are very few who deserve music more than I do.
