The battery life is from the 1st tesla's released, the new tesla's have a 45 minute quick recharge option, obviously it costs more but their goin to put it in their new model S witch is $50,000. I havent heard of the ev mustang, is it all electric or is a like a volt? Thats awesome ford you'd make 1, to get em cheaper they have to be mass produced. Is it on ford website or did you hear about it from so other place?
Why can't they standartise the batteries so that in petrol stations you would simply take your battery pack out and replace it with an identical one that's fully charged (for a certain cost). Petrol station would then simply charge your one and pass it on. Then start mass producing them, they're not expensive. 14 hours is far too long!
the mustang evx takes 3.5 hrs to charge on a 220V outlet and will go the same distance probably.

Having 'charging stations' to replace batteries! That's a fantastic idea!
