I have to say this was a good point that I dwelled over. However, I just accept that the writers didn't think things through or changed plans. So, I just imagine her ship only appeared to explode, when in fact parts of it ended up on the planet. Then the higher power brought her back and her ship.
I think that's the funniest of the bunch so far. And yeah, although a lot of people would ignore the inconsistencies mentioned, it makes no sense that Kara exploded in the Maelstrom, then took a picture of our Earth's Moon from orbit of Revelations planet, then crashed on Revelations planet. The problem isn't just that there is some quasi-insane "God" guiding events. The problem is that the events make no frakking sense, even given a quasi-insane "God."
