@TheDMage96 Yeah I agree. Clannad had 40+ episodes to build up character arcs so it's more sad because ur more attached to them. Angel Beats just had 13 episodes and it was still sad, if they haven't cut the production in half, it would have been sadder though.

I have to say this anime was really awesome, but people say, "this is the only one that made me cry" or stuff like that, and the truth is that they are partially right cuz it makes people cry at the end, but they are many more anime series that make cry a lot more than this one, like CLANNAD, in which you can keep crying for episodes and episodes and has a great ending tho.; or Air TV or Tokyo Magnitude 8.0

If the creators leave you know room to imagine and make up your own ideas then they may as well just be programming you into a drone like society already tries to. my own personal idea behinds Shino was that she was in a strict family that was big on discipline. the only friends she had in the world where her kitten. one day her kitten died and she was left alone in the world.
