A MXS/MX-2 is a Giles 202 with an Extra 300 wing mounted on it. I believe the best as of right now would be the Cap 232/Eagle 580 or the Sbach 342.

the MXs is around $310,000 the MX2 is around $320,000. im not sure about the new MX1. these prices are from a while ago they may have changed since then, but those prices i got from emailing MXR tech about a year ago.

the MX1 is the new airplane for the Red Bull Air Races. peter besenyei should be flying one this year. and i thinka another pilot is but i cant come up with a name right now

@wcc963 Try again. There isnt an MX1. Only an MXS or MX-2(Two Seater). The MXS starts at 395k unloaded. To load it will all the latest Avionice and Upgraded Lycoming runs aound 500k. All the MXS is, is a Giles 202 with an Extra 300 wing mounted on it.

Sweeeeet as someone who has always been interested in aviation it would be to cool to live there. Have an airshow at the comfort of your home. Hey do they let you fly R/C there. That my big thing.

yes most of the guys who live there also fly RC, and many fly them there. that is willis glider port. i fly RC with a few of the guys who live there... unfortunetly MXR technologies is no linger there. they moved up north to one of the carolinas(forgot which one). there are a few houses for sale there i think the cheapest is down to around $600,000 but IMO it would be worth it. they fly aerobatics there almost everyday... weather permitting of course
