It just occured to me that the cat's name isn't Henry. So I wondered who Henry actually was and it turns out that it's an in-joke referencing a character from another cartoon about a man called Henry, who had sexual daydreams.

And a crazy thing, the cat's face spells out the word 'miow' M = Ears I = Eyes O = Nose W = Mouth.

It's all on Wikipedia. Crazy.

Brilliant show, it's interesting to note that the first two series are rather reminiscent to Roobarb cartoons, uber simplistic story-lines and animation, and the last three are more like Dangermouse in terms of pacing and style.

It sounds like the theme to this series was composed on a commodore 64!

The show changed its theme a number of times, but this is the one i was looking for! when i was like 5 I had a HC Video and each episode was only a few minutes long, so the theme would be on constantly, and it drove my parents up the wall!
